{Colin's POV}
Aaliyah really hasn't said much to me since she picked me up from the house. We get to the ranch so Riley can begin her lessons. This would be her second lesson and she loves it so far. Aaliyah, Nate and I watch from the other side of the fence.
"Listens Aaliyah...I'm real sorry and I can promise you, nothing like this will happen again."
"It's whatever, Colin. You heard what I said, and I hope for her sake, you relay the message exactly the way it should be relayed cause I don't want to hurt the bitch."
"I hear you, loud and clear. Don't worry. I'm going to take care of it." I give her a stern look. She rolls her eyes and gives her attention back to Riley.
After her lesson, she drops me back off at the house. "You did really good today Ry." I say before getting out of the car.
"Thanks daddy. It's the best birthday present you ever gave me."
"I'm glad you're lovin it. Hopefully it won't be long till you can start riding on your own...maybe mommy and daddy should get some lessons so we can all ride together." I say then smile at Aaliyah and she smiles back.
"That might be a possibility. We'll see."
"That would be so awesome!
"That would be...ya know it may be beneficial considering they like to ride horses in Texas...and I hear the Texans might need a new player next season." She says lookin in my eyes. I know what's she's trying to do, and it's not working.
"Ha ha, very funny. Your mama's is quite the comedian Riley."
"I know. That's where I get my funniness from."
"Yup. And that scares me."
"Whatever." Aaliyah says, playfully hitting my arm.
"Shit, it does. It should scare you too."
"It doesn't, because when she's with me, she knows not to get out of line."
"Whatever..." I get out to give both my kids some love. "I'll see you both tomorrow okay."
"Okay."
"I love you."
"I love you too daddy."
"I love you bubba." He blows me a kiss. After saying goodbye, I go in the house.
When I told Aaliyah I'd take care of Nessa, I meant it. My kids and family is nothing to mess with, especially my kids. Before I do so, I want to hear when Aaliyah heard. I send her a text and as her how she was able to listen, and she sends me the link to it. After hearing it, I'm mad. I'm pissed actually.
I'd rather break up with someone in person, but I just wanna get it over with now. I call her up and she answers after about the third ring.
"Hey baby. What's up."
"I uhhh, I just listened to something real interesting and it pissed me off."
"Okay, babe...I."
"NO. I'm talkin. You spend all damn day on the radio talkin...talkin about my 8 year old daughter. You shut the fuck up and listen. If you so much as say another thing about my kids, or Aaliyah, I swear I'll ruin your life because I know shit people don't. You got me?" She's silent. "Now your ass can talk."
