"Damn, this shit still stings." I say with one hand on the steering wheel, one hand on my pants.
"But no it's so smooth now."
"Yeah, and you better suck the soul outta me when we get home to."
"Uhhh, I never agreed to that."
"Wait a minute, I didn't not just go get waxed for the hell of it."
"Babe, anything sexual for us ended last night. Until our honeymoon."
"Aw hell nah. Baby, you can't do this to me."
"Now you know how I like it, so that way, when honeymoon time rolls around, you'll be ready."
I just got played. "Fine." I sigh. "What we eatin for lunch though. I'm starving."
"You can choose, it doesn't matter to me."
We go eat, and take advantage of Riley and Nate being away and she treats me to a massage to make up for her playing me.
I finally get around to posting the proposal picture on Instagram from last night.
"I finally asked my bestfriend, the love of my life, the wonderful mother of my children, to marry me, and she said YES. I can't wait to make this lady Mrs. Kaepernick. She's my everything, and I'm gonna give you the world and more. I love you, baby❤️💍"
A post that made my Instagram and Twitter get overwhelmed with comments. The usual hate and love comments, nothing new with the hate. I'm excited to marry this girl. I always knew we were it for each other, even back in high school, and not it finally gets to happen.

[2 Months Later - April]
{Aaliyah's POV}
"Colin, I'm not picking red for our wedding." I say putting the phone between my ear and shoulder and placing Nate in his crib. It had been a couple months since we got engaged. I haven't really acted upon wedding planning just yet. Mainly because Colin had been in Arizona to train the past 2 months..but he's definitely letting it be known what color he wants. Little does he know, I'm suppose to pick all this or we come to a condense on it, and I don't want red, but the Kappa man wants it. Too bad it's not gonna happen.
"Why not?"
"Because, I just don't like it for the wedding. It's gonna be next spring, we need a nice spring color." Another reason why I was in no rush. We decided next spring because it's enough time in advance to where Colin can tailor his offseason training around it.
"I should just give up shouldn't I?"
"Yes sir, you should."
"Alright, I give up. How bout I just leave this all up to you..."
"Well not all of it. There are still some things you need to be involved with."
"Damn. Just when I thought I could get off with just writing the checks."
"Nope. Not at all."
"Damnit." He chuckles. "I miss you, and the kids."
"We miss you too. We can't wait for you to come home."
"I can't wait to be home. Just a few more days!" I smile at the thought of him coming home. Last time we visited him was during Riley's spring break and stayed for the week. Then he surprised us the weekend after that, and we haven't seen him since then. "What's little man doin?"
