Lillian is in absolute denial that she's fallen in love with Edward Elric. She thinks he's incredibly charming and funny, he is one of the only people who can make her smile and she loves it. But she's also very afraid of  the fact that she might ending up killing him, so she keeps her distance. She shows her love with physical affection and acts of service, but only very rarely. Physical affection makes her very nervous though, so she usually just braids his hair.
