Alike her close uncle, the popular hero; Present Mic, Kanon's voice reaches absurd decibel levels with little to no effort. At a current limit of 800 Decibels before taking damage to her vocal cords, Kanon's voice is on average; 140 Decibels at average-quiet speaking volume. If she must talk, Kanon whispers as quietly as she possibly can, but almost all of the time she prefers to communicate with others through writing and sign language.

Personality: Even with limited method of communication without risking damage to the people around her, Kanon is generally an optimistic, energetic, intelligent, and teasing type. Any chance she'll get, through JSL or writing, Kanon will be cracking jokes, making light out of an upsetting situation or attempting to lift up her classmates and teammates. An interesting example of this; in one reported account, she praised a bully of hers for coming up with such "creative" insults, before beating him so badly he needed to go to the hospital. Kanon is an ENFP type.
Likes: If it isn't bright and colorful, Kanon doesn't want it. Bright art, music videos, video games, candy stores, Sakura blooming, gardening, dress designing, visiting museums, attending concerts and all other forms of taking in and creating art are massive enjoyments to Kanon.
Dislikes: Kanon has no problem with people who insult or pick on her, as long as they are creative about it. She doesn't appreciate, "you're stupid" or "you have a useless quirk" comments, she'd much rather hear a critique than a random insult. She calls these people who spout out random insults; "Uncreative clowns".
Hobbies: In the little free time she does have, Kanon uses it to study art history, visit art galleries and museums, spend time with the other girls of class 1-A, practice controlling her quirk, DIY her clothing, wander the city streets, and intentionally get lost, just to see if she can find her way once more.
Fears: Kanon desperately fears not living up to expectation, but also being underestimated. She constantly fears that her relationship to pro hero Present Mic affected her acceptance into UA's hero course, so she tries all she can to prove that she deserves to be among the class of 1-A just as much as every other student does.

Love Interest: In an enemies-to-lovers twist, Kanon founds herself falling in love with the ever-abrasive, yet skilled and intelligent, Katsuki Bakugo. Initially introduced to one another during the school Sports Festival, both repelled each other like the same sides of a magnet. With Bakugo's only method of communication managing to be screaming, the only manner of communicating that Kanon cannot participate in, their introduction seemed to inspire a doomed friendship— Bound to hate eachother for eternity. Though, as each month at UA passes, standing closer and closer together without breaking into half-JSL half-screaming session argument is becoming easier to both of them.
