Kazashi was born deaf into a household where it's parents pretended that it's disability didn't even exist, they wouldn't even let her learn JSL or get a cochlear implant because they saw it as a waste of money and time. So instead, Kazashi instead just talked to everyone by writing things down and almost never spoke in front of their parents or friends.
Kazashi was also born into a very, very homophobic and conservative family, so when she came out as Non-binary, Panromantic and Acesexual when it was 16, they were kicked out and sent to live with their aunt.
