Hero School Affiliation: UA High School "Quirk" Description: Snakeskin Mio's quirk accelerates production of a mixture of pure keratin and tightly packed carbon atoms in her body. This overproduction of literal diamond and keratin causes intensely sharp and thick scales to burst from her skin, painlessly but quickly. The growth of these "indestructible" scales is slowed by skin-hydrating products such as lotions and body scrubs, but the early removal of producing scales can result in the skin underneath being ripped up along with the torn off scale. The scales are iridescent, shining colors of blue, green, purple and silver in the light. These scales concentrate heavily on certain patches of skin, making it appear as if Mio's face is painted with crystal.
Personality: Mio presents as an adjusted "tsundere" trope, yet never seems to keep consistent with her aggressive persona. Notebooks are full of facts about animals, and if she wasn't a hero, certainly, she'd want to be a veterinarian. Dislikes: Though Mio adores animals, she shows massive distain for any type of insect. Hobbies: Mio enjoys all forms of creating art, especially out of her own quirk. By hitting and scraping larger scales against eachother, Mio can create different shapes and sharpnesses. Love Interest: Mio was a casual friend of Izuku Midoriya in elementary and middle school, but didn't develop a true and deep crush on him until a few months into their time at UA high school.
