They found a quiet spot in the park, sitting on a bench beneath the shade of a sprawling oak tree. The gentle rustle of leaves and distant chatter of other people makes it peaceful for Jimin."So, what's everyone planning for tomorrow?" Jin asked, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled among them.
Taehyung leaned back, his hands behind his head. "I might just sleep in and catch up on some gaming. It's been a hectic week."
Jin chuckled. "Sounds like a plan. How about you, Jimin? Any exciting plans?"
Jimin hesitated for a moment, stirring his ice cream absentmindedly. "I think I'll visit my parents. It's been a while since I've seen them."
Taehyung nodded approvingly. "That sounds like a good idea. Family time is always refreshing."
"Yeah," Jimin replied softly, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. "I miss them."
The mention of family brought a slight guilt to Jin's heart. He knew Jimin cherished his family deeply, and visits home were always special to him.
"We should all make more time for family," Jin said thoughtfully. "Life gets busy, but they're the ones who've been with us through everything."
Taehyung nodded in agreement. "Definitely. We should plan a day out with everyone sometime soon."
Jimin smiled at his friends. Despite the heaviness in his heart from earlier, their presence and their genuine concern helped lift his spirits.
"I'm glad we did this today," Jimin said softly, breaking the peaceful silence that had settled over them.
Taehyung grinned. "Me too. Sometimes all you need is good company and some yummy ice cream."
Jin nodded in agreement. "Absolutely. Let's make sure we do this more often."
A while later, Jimin bid farewell to Jin and Taehyung. He declined their offer to drive him home, insisting that the walk would do him good.
With a reassuring smile and a promise to check in later, they parted ways, leaving Jimin to stroll through the city streets towards his and Yoongi's apartment.
As he walked, memories of the past few weeks flooded Jimin's mind, each one tinged with a mix of hope and disappointment.
He recalled the countless times he had tried to make amends with Yoongi, to bridge the growing distance between them, only to be met with a wall of coldness.
Flashbacks
Jimin prepared a surprise dinner at home, hoping to recreate one of their early dates. He set the table with Yoongi's favorite dishes, lit candles for a warm ambiance, and waited eagerly for Yoongi to return from the studio.
"Welcome home, love," Jimin greeted softly as Yoongi entered, his voice filled with hope.
Yoongi glanced at the table set for dinner, then back at Jimin with a tired sigh. "Thanks," he replied curtly, his eyes already scanning through messages on his phone.
"I made your favorite dishes. I thought we could have a nice dinner together," Jimin offered, trying to hide his disappointment.
Yoongi nodded blankly. "I appreciate it," he murmured, already heading towards the living room.
Jimin's shoulders slumped as he watched Yoongi walk away. "Okay," he whispered to himself, the weight of unspoken words heavy in the silence.

On another occasion, Jimin planned a fun and romantic weekend getaway to a quaint seaside town they had talked about visiting.
"Surprise!" Jimin beamed, holding up the booking confirmation. "We're going to the seaside town this weekend!"
