The next morning, Yoongi woke up early to meet Namjoon and get to the bottom of the strange events that had been happening. He showered quickly, feeling the hot water wake him up. As he stepped out, he left his phone on the bedside table, not noticing Iseul watching him intently.
Iseul saw the notification from Namjoon and felt a surge of anxiety. She had to act quickly. As Yoongi dried off and began dressing, she approached him, her face painted with concern.
"Yoongi, please don't go," she said, her voice trembling.
Yoongi paused, turning to her with a frown. "Iseul, I told you last night, I need to meet Namjoon. He says it's urgent."
Iseul's eyes filled with tears as she stepped closer. "I'm scared, Yoongi. What if Jimin oppa comes back? What if he hurts me again?"
Yoongi sighed, trying to remain patient. "Iseul, I understand you're scared, but Jimin isn't a violent person. He wouldn't hurt you."
"But he did!" she insisted, her voice rising. "Look at my face, Yoongi! How can you be so sure he won't come back and do worse?"
Yoongi looked at her bruised face, feeling a pang of guilt and confusion. He took a deep breath, trying to keep his voice calm. "Iseul, I know you're upset, but we can't let fear control us. I need go. We can't keep living in this uncertainty."
Iseul's eyes widened with desperation. "Please, Yoongi, just stay with me today. I'm terrified. What if he comes back and finds me alone? I'm carrying your child, Yoongi. You have to think about our baby."
Yoongi's heart stung. The thought of their unborn child being in danger made him hesitate. He sat down beside her on the bed, taking her hands in his. "Iseul, I promise I'll be back as soon as I can. But I have to go. Namjoon might have answers that can help us."
Iseul pulled her hands away, her expression turning cold. "You're choosing him over me? Over our baby?"
Yoongi's frustration grew. "It's not about choosing, Iseul. It's about finding the truth. I need to know what's going on, for our sake."
Tears streamed down Iseul's cheeks. "Why can't you just stay? For once, put me and our baby first!"
Yoongi felt a mix of anger and sorrow. He didn't want to argue, but he couldn't ignore the urgency of Namjoon's message. "Iseul, I've always put you first. But right now, I need to do this. Please understand."
Iseul shook her head, her voice breaking. "You don't care about us. You just want to play the hero."
Yoongi stood up, his patience wearing thin. "That's not true, and you know it. I love you, and I love our baby. But I can't ignore this. I'll be back soon. Stay here, lock the door, and don't open it for anyone but me."
Iseul watched him, her expression a mix of anger and despair. "If you walk out that door, don't bother coming back."
Yoongi froze, the weight of her words hitting him hard. He turned to her, his eyes filled with hurt. "Iseul, don't do this. I'm trying to protect you."
She looked away, her tears falling silently. "You don't understand. You never will."
Yoongi felt a deep ache in his chest, but he knew he had to go. He picked up his phone and headed for the door, pausing one last time. "Iseul, please... just trust me."
