Special Chapter (fluff)

It was a warm afternoon in late spring, the kind of day where the sun shone brightly but gently, casting a golden hue over the college campus. Jimin had chosen this moment carefully. He and Jungkook often spent their breaks under a large oak tree near the library, a spot that offered both shade and a sense of privacy despite being in the center of the bustling campus. As they settled down with their drinks, Jimin's heart pounded in his chest. He knew this conversation was important.

"Jungkook," Jimin began, his voice steady despite the nerves dancing in his stomach. He took a deep breath, meeting his best friend's eyes. "There's something important I need to tell you."

Jungkook looked up from his phone, sensing the seriousness in Jimin's tone. He put his phone away, giving Jimin his full attention. "What's up, hyung? You know you can tell me anything."

Jimin smiled at the reassurance but felt the weight of the moment pressing down on him. He looked down at his hands, which were fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. "I've been thinking about this for a long time, and it's been hard to keep it to myself. I... I'm gay, Jungkook."

There was a brief silence, filled only by the distant laughter of students and the rustling of the leaves in the breeze. Jimin finally looked up to gauge Jungkook's reaction.

Jungkook's eyes widened slightly, but his expression remained calm and thoughtful. He took a moment before speaking, choosing his words carefully. "Hyung, thank you for trusting me enough to tell me this. It must've been really hard for you."

Jimin nodded, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. "It was. I didn't know how you would react, and I was scared it might change things between us- I don't want to lose this friendship"

Jungkook reached out, placing a reassuring hand on Jimin's shoulder. "Hyung, nothing could change how I feel about you as my bestfriend. You're still the same Jimin I've always known. This doesn't change anything between us, except maybe that I understand you even better now."

It was a typical Saturday afternoon, Jimin and Jungkook had decided to take a break from their studies and were hanging out in their favorite spot near the student center. They sat on a bench, sipping iced coffees and watching people pass by.

"Why don't you have a girlfriend yet, Kook?" Jimin asked, leaning back and stretching his legs out in front of him. The question was casual, but it carried a hint of curiosity.

Jungkook shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "My father is strict, you know that too. He wants me to focus on my studies first." He looked over at Jimin, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Why don't you have a boyfriend, hyung?"

Jimin froze for a split second, his mind racing. He hadn't expected the question to be turned back on him, and he could feel his pulse quicken. "You have a strict father- I- I mean," he stammered, realizing his slip.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on his face. "You mean what, hyung?"

Jimin quickly searched for an excuse, trying to cover up his mistake. "I mean, you know how it is. I've just been focusing on my studies too. And, uh, with dance practice and everything, I barely have time to think about dating."

Jungkook laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Sure, hyung. I get it."

It was a quiet evening, and the sky was clear, revealing a blanket of stars over the college campus. Jimin and Jungkook had decided to take a walk after dinner, ending up at their favorite spot on a hill overlooking the campus. They lay on the grass, side by side, gazing up at the night sky.
