After ending the call with Jimin, Jungkook's unease only grew. He drove back to the company, looking for Hoseok, his mind racing with thoughts about Jimin and Iseul. Something felt off, and he couldn't shake the feeling that Jimin was hiding something.

Meanwhile, in the hotel room, Iseul was still trembling in Yoongi's arms. Yoongi gently helped her sit on the bed, his mind swirling with confusion and concern. The picture Iseul painted of Jimin was so unlike the friend he knew, but the fear in her eyes was real.

"Iseul, tell me everything," Yoongi said softly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "I need to understand what happened."

Iseul took a deep breath, her eyes glistening with tears. "Jimin oppa barged in here, yelling and accusing me of all sorts of things. He was so angry, Yoongi. I've never seen him like that. He slapped me and trashed the room."

Yoongi's heart ached seeing her so distressed. "Iseul, I'm so sorry. I don't understand why he would do this."

Iseul bit her lip, looking down. "He's always been protective of Jungkook, but this... this was different. He said he couldn't believe I was staying here with you."

Yoongi frowned. "But why would he be so angry about that?"

Iseul's voice dropped to a whisper. "He thinks I'm using you, Yoongi. He said I've ruined everything."

Yoongi's grip tightened on her hand. "I won't let him hurt you again, Iseul. I'll talk to him and make sure he understands."

Iseul nodded, leaning into Yoongi for comfort. "Please, Yoongi. I just want to feel safe."

Yoongi held her close, his mind made up. He would confront Jimin and get to the bottom of this.

"Iseul," Yoongi said gently, pulling back slightly to look into her eyes. "I need to go and talk to someone. We will sort this out later okay? Will you be okay here for a little while?"

Iseul hesitated, then nodded. "I'll be fine, Yoongi. Just... please be careful."

Yoongi kissed her forehead. "I promise. I'll be back soon."

As Yoongi left the hotel room, Iseul watched him go, a sight of something unreadable in her eyes. The moment the door closed behind him, she stood up, her tears quickly drying. She glanced around the room, ensuring she was alone, before grabbing her phone.

She dialed a number, her expression hardening. "He's gone. I need to meet you now," she said into the phone, her voice low and urgent.

After a brief pause, she nodded. "Fine. I'll be there in twenty minutes."

She quickly gathered her things, smoothing out her clothes and wiping away any traces of her earlier tears. Her demeanor shifted from one of distress to one of cold determination. She slipped out of the hotel room, making her way down the hall and into the elevator.

As the elevator descended, Iseul's mind raced. She had to deal with this carefully. Jimin's interference had been unexpected, but she wouldn't let it derail her plans. She had come too far and risked too much to let anyone, especially her brother, ruin everything.

The elevator doors opened, and Iseul stepped out into the lobby. She moved swiftly through the hotel, her gaze focused and determined. She exited the building and walked briskly down the street, heading towards a nearby café.

The café was a small, inconspicuous place, perfect for a discreet meeting. Iseul entered and scanned the room, quickly spotting the man she was meeting. He was seated at a corner table, his back to the wall, his eyes sharp and alert.

Iseul approached the table, her expression cool and composed. "We need to talk," she said, sitting down across from him.

The man looked up, his eyes narrowing. "What happened?"

Her expression calm and composed. "None of your business, I just need money."

The man's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?"

Iseul leaned forward, her gaze steady. "I need money to ensure my silence about what I know. You understand that I have enough information to ruin you, right?"

The man clenched his jaw, clearly annoyed. "You're blackmailing me now?"

The man leaned back, studying her with a mixture of anger and grudging respect. "How much are we talking about?"

Iseul thought for a moment, considering the sum that would secure her position and give her enough to handle any unforeseen complications. "Eighty thousand dollars. I need it by the end of the week."

The man's eyes flashed with anger. "That's a lot of money."

"It's a small price to pay for your peace of mind," Iseul countered smoothly. "Think about it. If I talk, your entire reputation could be ruined. Can you afford that risk?"

The man stared at her, his mind clearly weighing the options. Finally, he sighed, a reluctant agreement forming in his eyes. "Fine. You'll get your money. But this better be the end of it, Iseul."

Iseul allowed herself a small, satisfied smile. "Of course. Once I have the money, I'll disappear from your life, and your secrets will remain safe."

The man nodded curtly. "I'll arrange the transfer. You'll have it by Friday."

"Good," Iseul said, standing up. "I'll be waiting."

As she walked out of the café, Iseul felt a sense of somewhat relief. She ensured that she had enough resources to maneuver through whatever came next.

Back in the hotel room, she found Yoongi pacing, worry etched across his face. He looked up as she entered, relief washing over him.

"Iseul, where have you been?" he asked, rushing to her side. "I was worried."

Iseul put on her best concerned expression. "I just needed some fresh air. Everything feels so overwhelming right now."

As they settled back into the room, Iseul's thoughts drifted to the money she would soon receive. It was a crucial step in her plan, ensuring she could handle any obstacle that came her way. She was playing a dangerous game, but with each move, she felt more in control.

For now, she would continue to play the part of the distressed victim, keeping Yoongi close and ensuring he remained unaware of her true intentions. She had come too far to let anyone, especially her brother, to ruin everything she had worked for.

Jimin on the other hand was sitting on a park bench, his laptop balanced on his knees. The confrontation with Iseul earlier had left him feeling both drained and tired. The peaceful surroundings of the park, the opposite of the chaos of the morning, helping him clear his mind.

He began changing the PIN codes on his bank accounts, ensuring that Yoongi wouldn't have access to his finances anymore.

Next, Jimin opened a real estate website, scrolling through listings for apartments. He needed a new place, somewhere he could start fresh without the constant reminders of the past. He bookmarked a few promising options, his heart lifting a little at the thought of a new beginning.

As he reviewed the listings, his thoughts drifted back to Iseul and Yoongi. He had loved his sister deeply and had always covered for her, but this was different. The betrayal had cut too deep, and he knew he had to prioritize his own well being now.
