That night, a man named Seungmin was making his way home after a long day at his law office. The night was quiet, the only sounds being the distant hum of traffic and the occasional rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze. He was tired and eager to get home, but something unusual caught his eye as he walked past the park.In the dim light of the street lamps, he noticed a figure lying on the ground, motionless. At first, he thought it might be a drunk person who had passed out, but as he got closer, he realized the seriousness of the situation. The man was unconscious, and there was a dark patch on the ground beneath his head.
Seungmin's heart raced as he knelt beside the man, checking for any signs of life. He felt a weak pulse, and a wave of relief washed over him. He pulled out his phone with shaking hands and dialed emergency services.
"Hello, I need an ambulance right away," he said, his voice trembling. "There's a man here, unconscious. I think he might be seriously hurt."
The operator calmly took down the details and assured Seungmin that help was on the way. Seungmin stayed on the line, giving as much information as he could about the man's condition and location. As he waited for the ambulance to arrive, he glanced around, trying to make sense of what had happened. There were no obvious signs of a struggle or any other people around. It was as if the man had simply collapsed.
After what felt like an eternity, he heard the distant wail of sirens. The ambulance arrived, and paramedics quickly assessed the situation, placing the man on a stretcher and rushing him to the hospital.
"Thank you for calling us," one of the paramedics said to Seungmin. "You may have saved his life."
Seungmin nodded, still in shock, not obligated to ride in the ambulance, he decided to take a taxi and follow it. As the ambulance sped away, he rode the taxi, trying to process what he had just witnessed. He didn't know who the man was or what had happened to him, but he hoped that he would be okay.
Minutes later, Seungmin was pacing the hospital corridor, his mind racing. He had come across the unconscious man in the park purely by chance, but now he was deeply invested in the situation. The doctors had identified the man as Kim Namjoon, the president of Rchive Media. Seungmin's eyes widened at the information.
"Kim Namjoon," he muttered to himself. "I can't believe it."
The hospital staff informed Seungmin that Namjoon's family had been called, and he nodded, understanding that this situation was far from ordinary. He decided to wait and see if he could offer any assistance. Being a lawyer, he knew how to handle emergencies and might be able to provide some legal advice if needed.
After a short while, Seungmin saw a man rushing down the corridor. It was Hoseok, Namjoon's cousin. He looked frantic, his eyes scanning the area until they landed on Seungmin. Hoseok is also famous as he is a well known choreographer.
"Hoseok hyung!" Seungmin called out, waving to get his attention.
Hoseok hurried over, his expression a mixture of worry and confusion. Seungmin introduced himself to the older. "Seungmin, what happened? How did you find Namjoon?"
Seungmin quickly explained the situation, how he had stumbled upon Namjoon in the park and called for help. Hoseok listened intently, his concern for his cousin evident.
"Thank you for helping him," Hoseok said, his voice trembling slightly. "I can't believe this happened. Do you know what could have caused it?"
Seungmin shook his head. "I'm not sure. There was no sign of an attack or anything. He might have fallen or had some sort of medical issue. The doctors are still running tests."
