Iseul was walking through the dimly lit streets, her mind a was a mess. Tears streamed down her face as she replayed the scenes in her head, her anger and frustration boiling over.
As she rounded a corner, she stumbled into a figure. She looked up, startled, and her tear-filled eyes met those of Namjoon.
"Iseul?" Namjoon said, his voice filled with surprise. "What are you doing out here in the middle of the night?"
Iseul's emotions exploded. "Namjoon!" she cried, her voice cracking. "Jungkook was supposed to be mine! But Jimin oppa... Oppa is always there, comforting him, taking him away from me!"
Namjoon was taken aback, trying to make sense of her words. "Iseul, calm down. What are you talking about?"
Iseul's hands balled into fists, and she began hitting Namjoon's chest, her sobs growing louder. "Ever since college, every time Jungkook and I had a fight, he'd run to oppa. It was always Jimin! Jimin! Park Jimin! Why couldn't he just be with me? Why did Jimin have to be there, taking him away?"
Namjoon gently grabbed her wrists, stopping her frantic shouts. "Iseul, stop! You're not making any sense."
Iseul's knees buckled, and she crumpled to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. "I loved him, Namjoon. I truly loved Jungkook so much, but Jimin oppa... Jimin oppa was always in the way. He always make Jungkook happy! And now, now they're together, and I'm left with nothing!"
Namjoon knelt beside her, his own heart heavy with the weight of her words. "Iseul, you need to pull yourself together. This isn't the way to handle things."
Iseul looked up at him, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "What do I do, huh? I'm in too deep. I've lost everything. I want Park Jimin to pay for this! For everything! If he treated Yoongi right, Yoongi wouldn't be with me! Cheating with Yoongi was a mistake! I want my Jungkook back!"
Namjoon sighed, looking at the woman infront of him. "Iseul, you can't just force Jungkook to love you again after you hurt him and cheated on him. If Jungkook and Jimin are happy together, you need to accept that and just move on. You deserve to be with someone who loves you for who you are, not someone you have to fight for, Yoongi is always there for you."
Iseul shook her head, more tears spilling down her cheeks. "But I can't let go, Namjoon. I can't just walk away from Jungkook, he can be my baby's father!"
Namjoon placed a hand on her back, comforting her. Iseul's sobs slowly subsided as the time went by.
Namjoon helped her to her feet, offering her a comforting embrace. "Come on, I'll walk you home. You shouldn't be out here alone."
As they walked through the quiet streets, Iseul leaned on Namjoon for support, her mind slowly beginning to clear. She suddenly stopped and pulled away from him, her eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and anguish.
“This is all your fault!” she yelled, her voice echoing in the empty park.
Namjoon looked at her, taken aback. “What do you mean, Iseul?”
Tears streamed down her face as she pointed an accusing finger at him. “You ruined everything! You’re the one who started this mess. If it weren’t for you, none of this would have happened! And you really have the guts to tell Yoongi, huh?”
Namjoon's expression turned wary. “Iseul, what are you talking about? What did I ruin?”
Iseul’s face contorted with rage. “You know what you did!"
“Namjoon,” she said, her voice low and dangerous. “There’s something you need to understand. You think you can just walk away from this, from me, but you can’t.”
Namjoon’s expression hardened. “What are you talking about?”
Iseul smirked through her tears. “I know things, Namjoon. Things that could ruin you. That night with me. This thing inside me might be yours. Do you really think you can afford to let me go?”
Namjoon’s eyes narrowed. “I-I'm possibly the real father of your baby?! Is that why you're really threatening me? I fucking thought it was just because of that night! You told me I forced you that night. Is this all a part of your plan?!"
Iseul crossed her arms, smirking. “I’m just stating possibilities. You owe me, Namjoon. And I’m going to collect.”
As the tension between them reached its peak, Namjoon finally snapped. "Iseul, this has to stop. You can't keep manipulating everyone around you. This isn't just about you! You're ruining lives!"
Iseul's eyes blazed with anger. "You think I don't know that? You think I don't realize what a mess this all is? But I can't just let everything fall apart. I have to control it, or else—"
"Or else what?" Namjoon interrupted, stepping closer to her. "You'll lose everything? Maybe that's what you deserve!"
In a fit of rage, Iseul pushed Namjoon hard, not realizing her own strength in the heat of the moment. Namjoon stumbled backward, his foot catching on a loose rock. He lost his balance and fell, hitting his head against a large stone.
The sound of the impact echoed through the night, and Iseul's eyes widened in horror as she watched Namjoon collapse to the ground, unmoving. For a moment, she was frozen, her mind struggling to process what had just happened.
"Namjoon?" she whispered, her voice trembling. She took a hesitant step toward him, her hands shaking. "Namjoon, get up."
There was no response. Panic surged through her veins as she knelt beside him, her fingers fumbling to find a pulse. It was weak but there.
"Oh my god," Iseul muttered, tears streaming down her face. She glanced around, the realization of what she'd done sinking in. She had to do something, but calling for help could expose everything.
Her mind raced with possibilities. She couldn't let anyone find out about their argument, about the affair, or about her manipulation. She had to think quickly.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket, jolting her out of her panic. She pulled it out and saw a message from Yoongi: "Where are you? I'm worried."
For a moment, Iseul's mind went blank. Then, driven by sheer survival instinct, she stood up, her heart pounding. She took one last, horrified look at Namjoon's body. There was no time to think or plan. She had to get away before anyone saw her.
Without another glance back, Iseul turned and fled into the night, her footsteps echoing in the stillness. She ran blindly, not caring where she was going as long as it was away from Namjoon and the scene of their confrontation.
As she put more distance between herself and Namjoon, her thoughts began to crystallize. She had to cover her tracks, make sure no one could link her to what had happened. She needed to think of an alibi, something that would place her far away from Namjoon at the time of his fall.
She slowed to a walk, her breath coming in ragged gasps. She pulled out her phone and quickly typed a message to Yoongi: "Just went for a walk to clear my head. Be back soon."
With trembling hands, she hit send and pocketed her phone. She glanced around, trying to get her bearings. She needed to get back to the hotel and act like everything was normal.
As she walked, she wiped the tears from her face and tried to compose herself. The amount of lies she had made was beginning to unravel, and it was only a matter of time before everything came crashing down around her. But for now, she had to focus on getting through the night and figuring out her next move.
Iseul's footsteps echoed through the empty streets as she made her way back to the hotel. Her mind raced with thoughts of what had just happened and what she needed to do next. She couldn't let this mistake ruin her plans. She had to think clearly and act quickly.
