As the conversation drifted to lighter topics, Jungkook felt curious about Jimin's relationship with Yoongi. He had always admired their bond from afar after they announced their relationship, wondering how they had found such a deep connection.

"Hyung," Jungkook began hesitantly, "can I ask you something?"

"Of course," Jimin replied, leaning back on the couch, sensing the shift in Jungkook's tone.

"How did you and Yoongi hyung meet? How did your love blossom?"

Jimin's face softened with a mixture of nostalgia and fondness. "It all started one evening, I was there hoping to make new connections and expand my opportunities. As I was mingling with fellow musicians and producers, I noticed a familiar face with expressive eyes and a quiet confidence that drew me in."

Jungkook listened intently, captivated by the story.

Jimin continued, "As the evening ticked, we exchanged contact information, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I had just met someone who would change my life in ways I hadn't expected."

Jungkook nodded, appreciating the depth of Jimin's recollection. "And then?"

"In the weeks that followed, Yoongi and I started spending more time together," Jimin said, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"We bonded over music sessions, late-night conversations, and shared interests. His quiet strength and support gradually melted my walls"

Jungkook's eyes softened with understanding. "It sounds like you two were meant to be."

Jimin sighed contentedly. "Our friendship blossomed into something deeper, and I found myself falling for his kindness, humor, and genuine nature. He became my safe place, someone I could rely on no matter what."

Jungkook smiled, a hint of envy in his eyes. "You two really do have something special."

Jimin's expression turned serious. "It wasn't always easy, though. When we first met, I was moving on from someone else."

The words slipped out before Jimin could stop himself. He bit his lip, realizing the possible consequences of his confession. Jungkook, however, didn't seem to catch on to the deeper meaning.

"Moving on from someone?" Jungkook asked, tilting his head. "Was it serious?"

Jimin took a deep breath, choosing his words carefully. "At the time, it felt very serious. I thought I was in love, but looking back, I realize it was more about finding comfort and validation than true love."

Jungkook's expression softened with understanding. "That makes sense. Sometimes we cling to people because we need them to fill a void, not because they're the right person for us."

"Exactly," Jimin agreed, his eyes meeting Jungkook's. He felt a pang of guilt for not revealing the whole truth, but he wasn't ready for that conversation. Not now, when Jungkook was already dealing with so much.

Jungkook sighed, leaning back in his chair. "I just hope I can figure things out with Iseul. I want us to have what you and Yoongi hyung have."

Jimin looked at Jungkook thoughtfully. "You know, Jungkook, not every relationship is as healthy as it seems from the outside. People often put on a facade."

Jungkook frowned, confusion evident in his eyes. "What do you mean?"

Jimin took a deep breath, choosing his words carefully. "I used to think your relationship with Iseul was perfect. You both seemed so happy, and you always did everything to make her smile. But looking at you now... the dark circles, the stress... It's clear that things aren't as they appear."

Jungkook's shoulders slumped, and he ran a hand through his hair. "Iseul has been... difficult lately. I try to make her happy, but it never seems to be enough."

Jimin nodded sympathetically. "It sounds like you're trying to shoulder all the responsibility on your relationship, but it's not just on you, Jungkook. A healthy relationship requires effort from both people."

Jungkook's eyes welled up with unshed tears again. "She keeps saying that she's only pointing out my flaws because she loves me and knows what's best for me. But it's... it's exhausting."

Jimin leaned forward, his voice gentle but firm. "You deserve someone who loves you for who you are, not someone who tries to mold you into their ideal. It's important to communicate and set boundaries. You shouldn't have to sacrifice your well-being to make someone else happy."

Jungkook's gaze dropped to the floor, and he felt a lump form in his throat. "I just want to make things right. I don't want to lose her."

Jimin sighed, placing a reassuring hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "I know, and it's okay to feel that way. But you need to take care of yourself, too. If you're always bending over backward without receiving the same effort in return, it will break you."

Jungkook nodded slowly, absorbing Jimin's words. "I guess I never really thought about it like that. I've been so focused on making her happy that I forgot about my own needs."

Jimin offered a small, supportive smile. "It's not too late to find balance. Try to talk to her again, share your feelings honestly. And remember, it's okay to ask for help and support. You're not alone in this. Don't worry, I'll talk to her too. Just like the old days"

As the conversation continued, the sunlight streaming through the windows started to soften, signaling the approach of evening. Jimin glanced at the clock and realized it was already quarter to 6pm.

"We should get going," Jimin said, standing up. "It's almost time to head to our parents' house."

Jungkook nodded, looking at the clock as well. "You're right. I'll give you a ride since we're both going to the same place."

Jimin smiled appreciatively. "Thanks, Jungkook. That would be great."

They gathered their things, and Jungkook grabbed his keys. As they stepped outside, the cool evening air was a welcome contrast to the day's heat. They walked to Jungkook's car in comfortable silence, each lost in their own thoughts.

Once they were on the road, Jungkook spoke up. "You know, Jimin hyung, talking with you today... it helped a lot. I feel like I have a clearer perspective on things."

Jimin glanced at him, his expression warm. "I'm glad to hear that. Sometimes all we need is someone to listen and understand."

Jungkook nodded, gripping the steering wheel a bit tighter. "It's just hard, you know? Balancing everything and trying to be the perfect husband."

"Nobody's perfect, Jungkook," Jimin replied gently. "It's okay to make mistakes and have struggles. The important thing is how we handle them and grow from them."

Jungkook sighed, his mind replaying the conversation they had earlier. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I just need to figure out how to talk to Iseul without it turning into a fight."

"You will, I'll talk to her later to smack some senses back to her again" Jimin assured him. "Just be honest and patient. She needs to understand that you're trying your best, but you also need to take care of yourself."

They drove in silence for a few more minutes, the familiar scenery passing by as they neared their destination. The comforting presence of Jimin beside him made Jungkook feel less alone in his struggles.

As they pulled up to the house, Jungkook parked the car and turned to Jimin. "Thanks again, hyung. For everything."

Jimin smiled warmly. "Anytime, Jungkook. We're family, and family sticks together."
