Yoongi and Iseul spent the night in a small, nondescript hotel room, both too agitated to sleep. The gravity of their situation weighed heavily on them, and the tension in the room was palpable. As the first light of dawn filtered through the thin curtains, they knew they had to face the uncertainty head-on.

After a quick, silent breakfast, they made their way to the hospital. The waiting room was a sterile, clinical environment that did little to calm their nerves.

Iseul fidgeted with her phone while Yoongi paced back and forth, occasionally glancing at her with a mixture of concern and anticipation.

"Iseul, are you sure about this?" Yoongi asked, breaking the silence.

Iseul looked up, her eyes reflecting her helplessness. "I don't know, Yoongi. But we need to know for sure."

The nurse called Iseul's name, and they both stood, exchanging a nervous glance before following her to the examination room. The nurse led them into a small room where a sonogram machine was set up, and told them to wait for the doctor.

After a few moments that felt like an eternity, a woman in a white coat entered the room, a warm yet professional smile on her face. "Good morning. I'm Dr. Kang Bora. How are you both doing today?"

"We're... nervous," Yoongi admitted, squeezing Iseul's hand for support.

Dr. Kang nodded understandingly. "That's completely normal. Let's see what we can find out today. Iseul, please lie down on the examination table."

Iseul did as instructed, and Dr. Kang prepared the ultrasound equipment. She applied a cool gel to Iseul's abdomen, causing her to shiver slightly.

"Just try to relax," Dr. Kang said soothingly. "This won't take long."

As the doctor moved the transducer over Iseul's belly, the room filled with the soft, rhythmic sound of a heartbeat. Iseul and Yoongi exchanged a look of astonishment and disbelief.

"Is that...?" Iseul began, her voice trembling.

Dr. Kang nodded, her smile widening. "Yes, it is. Congratulations, Iseul. You're pregnant."

The reality of the situation hit them both like a bus. Yoongi's eyes filled with tears as he looked at the monitor, and Iseul's hand flew to her mouth in shock.

"I... I'm pregnant?" Iseul whispered, her eyes brimming with tears.

"Yes," Dr. Kang confirmed. "From what I can see, you're about ten weeks along. Everything looks healthy so far, but we'll need to schedule regular check-ups to monitor your progress."

Yoongi squeezed Iseul's hand tightly, his emotions a whirlwind of joy, fear, and uncertainty. "Thank you, Dr. Kang. This means... this means so much to us."

Dr. Kang smiled warmly. "I understand this is a lot to take in. Do you have any questions for me?"

Iseul swallowed hard, trying to process everything. "What... what should I do now? Is there anything I need to be careful about?"

Dr. Kang nodded. "Yes, there are a few things. First and foremost, make sure you're eating a balanced diet and staying hydrated. Avoid any harmful substances like alcohol and tobacco. And try to manage your stress levels as much as possible. We'll provide you with some prenatal vitamins and a schedule for your next appointments."

Iseul nodded, still in a daze. "Okay. Thank you, Dr. Kang."

Dr. Kang handed Iseul a small booklet. "This contains some helpful information and guidelines for your pregnancy. If you have any concerns or questions at any time, don't hesitate to contact us."

As Dr. Kang left the room, Yoongi helped Iseul sit up, wiping away a tear that had escaped down her cheek. "We're going to get through this, Iseul. We'll figure it out together."

Iseul nodded, her emotions still raw and overwhelming. "I know, Yoongi. It's just... a lot to take in."

Yoongi wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "We'll take it one step at a time. We're in this together."

As they left the hospital, the weight of their new reality settled over them. There were many uncertainties and challenges ahead, but they also felt a feeling of hope.

The life growing inside Iseul was a symbol of their future, and despite the tumultuous circumstances, it gave them something to hold onto.

In the car ride back to the hotel, they talked about their plans, their fears, and their hopes. The journey ahead was daunting, but for the first time in a long while, they felt a sense of purpose and direction.

Back in the hotel room, Iseul rested on the bed, her hand gently resting on her abdomen. Yoongi sat beside her, his mind racing with thoughts of the future. He knew they had a lot to figure out, but he was determined to be there for Iseul and their unborn child.

As the sun set outside their window, casting a warm glow over the room, they felt a sense of peace. It wasn't going to be easy, but they were ready to face whatever came next, together.

Back at the hospital, a gentle knock was heard from outside the doctor's lounge. The door opened, and a handsome man walked in, his presence filling the room with a sense of warmth and familiarity.

"Ah, son, you're finally here!" Dr. Kang Bora exclaimed, her eyes lighting up with joy.

"I told you I'd come over here to spend some time with you today, Mom, especially since I just got home from America," the man replied, a smile spreading across his face.

"Yah, Kang Sunjae, you can't just go anywhere you want without telling your father!" Dr. Kang chided, though her tone was affectionate.

"He said his flight is tomorrow too, I'm just excited," Sunjae said, shrugging nonchalantly.

"Good to know. Anyway, did you know any name like Jeon Iseul?" Dr. Kang asked, her expression turning curious.

"Iseul, hmmm," Sunjae mused, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "Ah, that's Jimin's sister. Jimin is one of my closest friends from college."

Dr. Kang raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Well, I was shocked when I met her today."

"Is she pregnant already?! Did Jungkook finally lost his v-card?" Sunjae asked, a playful smirk on his lips.

"Watch your language!" Dr. Kang scolded, giving him a stern look. "And no... she went here with someone else, I can't seem to remember his name though..."

Sunjae's expression shifted from amusement to confusion. "That's weird..."

Dr. Kang nodded, her brow furrowing. "Yes, it is. She seemed quite anxious and on edge."

"Did she say anything about what's going on?" Sunjae inquired, his concern growing.

"Not much, just that she needed a check-up. But the man with her... there was something off about the whole situation," Dr. Kang said, her voice tinged with worry.

Sunjae leaned against the counter, his mind racing. "I'll talk to Jungkook. Maybe he knows what's going on with Iseul."

Dr. Kang smiled, placing a hand on her son's shoulder. "That might be a good idea. I'm glad you're back, Sunjae. I've missed you."

"I've missed you too, Mom," Sunjae replied, pulling her into a gentle hug. "Let's catch up after my shift ends. I'll see if I can find out more about Iseul in her next check up too."

Sunjae didn't know that the man with Iseul was Yoongi, but his message had already sent ripples of concern through Jungkook's heart. As he sat on the couch with Jimin, his phone buzzed. It was Sunjae.

Sunjae:
Hey Jungkook, it's Sunjae, your college friend? Anyway, I heard something concerning and thought you should know. Iseul was at the hospital today with another man. My mom, Dr. Kang, was their doctor. She mentioned that they seemed very close. I'm not sure what's going on, but I thought you should be aware. Call me if you want to talk.

Sunjae hit send and sighed, hoping his message would provide some clarity or at least prompt Jungkook to seek answers.
