The sun cast a warm glow over the city as Jimin and Jungkook stood in front of the apartment building. Weeks had passed since the whirlwind of events that had turned their lives upside down, and now, it was time for Jimin to move on, both physically and emotionally.

Jimin glanced back at the building he once shared with Yoongi, a mixture of nostalgia, pain and relief washing over him. The memories were bittersweet, but leaving this place felt like shedding a heavy weight.

Jungkook was busy loading the last of Jimin's boxes into his car. "Is that everything?" he asked, wiping a bead of sweat from his forehead.

Jimin nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yeah, that's everything."

Jungkook walked over to Jimin, putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "You sure you're okay with this? Moving in with me, I mean."

Jimin turned to him, a genuine smile spreading across his face. "I'm more than okay with it, Kookie. You've been there for me through all of this. Besides, I think it’s time for a fresh start."

Jungkook smiled back, feeling a warmth in his chest at Jimin's words. "Alright hyung, let’s get going then."

As they drove through the city towards Jungkook's house, the tension and uncertainty that had loomed over them for so long slowly melted away. Jimin watched the familiar streets pass by, his mind drifting back to the events that had led them here. The betrayal, the threats, the confrontation with Iseul—all of it seemed like a distant nightmare now.

Pulling up to Jungkook’s house, they began unloading Jimin's belongings. The house was charming and inviting, with a garden that Jungkook had carefully tended. The air was filled with a sense of optimism and renewal. There was no sign that Iseul lived here before anymore.

As they carried the last box inside, Jungkook turned to Jimin with a playful grin. "You know, I’ve been meaning to redecorate. Maybe we can make this place feel like home for both of us."

Jimin laughed, feeling a lightness he hadn’t felt in months. "Sounds like a plan. But don't question me with the colors that I want, okay?"

Jungkook pretended to think about it. "No promises."

They both laughed, the sound echoing through the house. It was a new beginning, one they both desperately needed. Jungkook’s house was modest but cozy, filled with little touches that made it feel like a real home. As they settled in, Jimin couldn’t help but feel a sense of belonging.

That evening, they sat on the couch, sharing a simple dinner Jungkook had prepared. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it was perfect. They talked about their plans, their hopes for the future, and even joked about the idea of getting a pet.

"You know," Jimin said, looking at Jungkook with a soft smile, "I never thought I’d feel this happy again."

Jungkook reached out, taking Jimin’s hand in his. "You deserve to be happy, hyung. We both do. And we’re going to make sure we are."

Jimin nodded, feeling a sense of peace settle over him. For the first time in a long while, the future didn’t seem so daunting. They had been through so much together, and now, they were ready to start a new, stronger and more united than ever before.

The next morning, the sun was bright and the sky clear as Jungkook drove Jimin to his workplace. The car ride was filled with light conversation and laughter, the kind that had become increasingly common since they started living together. Jungkook cherished these moments, feeling a growing warmth in his chest each time Jimin smiled.

As they pulled up to Jimin's workplace, Jungkook parked the car and turned to Jimin. "Have a great day, okay? I'll pick you up later."

Jimin smiled, leaning over to kiss Jungkook on the cheek. "Thanks, Kook. You too."
