Vegas' POV

"Ah...the door fell again." Pete shakes his head, unsatisfied.

"Did someone break into your house?!"

"I don't know..."

We both draw our weapons.

"I'll go first."

"Why?!"

"What do you mean 'why'?! This is my house."

"No, I will."

"No... you can't go."

"Why not?!"

"Why would you do that?! What if you get shot?!

"Are you worried about me, Pete?!"

"Sure! Your family would come for my head. Stay here."

"No!"

"Don't be stubborn!"

Pete looks at me without understanding my stubbornness.

I don't understand it myself.

All I know is that in no way I want him to go ahead and get hurt. The mere possibility of it...

I can't even think about it...a great discomfort grips my heart.

"I broke down your door. Let's go together and that's final."

"Geez...okay."

We position ourselves close to the entrance door. We enter the small room together.

No signal of anyone. We look at the bathroom door.

We nod to each other.

I turn the door knod and open it. There is nobody there either.

"Come on, help me put the door back in place." I hold the door fallen on the floor.

"Don't bother, Khun Vegas. I can do it myself."

"It's easier if we do it together."

Pete looks at me again with strangeness in his eyes.

We both lifted it and fitted the hinge again.

"I'll call a technician to come tomorrow morning and fix this door."

"Well thanks for your help". Pete points me to the door.

"It's not safe to be here alone."

"I'm not going anywhere else."

"I know." I take off my suit and place it on a chair. "Me neither."

Pete's POV

"What do you think you're doing?!" Kuhn Vegas takes off his tie and begins to unbutton the sleeve of his shirt.
