The villain didn't say anything; neither did anyone from our side. I watched as the man covered with severed hands vigorously scratched his neck. He's really tweaking over there.
"What's wrong?" All Might smugly asked. "Not attacking me? Didn't you say you were going to clear this level earlier? Well, come and get me, if you dare."
The villain stumbled back, trembling.
"Man, this is... intense," Bakugo muttered.
"As I expected," Todoroki concluded. "There's no reason for us to fight now. He'll handle this."
No, he's almost exhausted his power. We'd basically be leaving him here to die if we regrouped with the others. I can only imagine how much pain he's currently in. But the problem is that only Izuku and I understand that. Damnit, I can't even interfere without giving it away that I know!
"Tsutsumi, Midoriya, let's go," Kirishima urged. "We should regroup with the other guys. The last thing we wanna do is get taken hostage or get in his way."
"What? Are you scared?" All Might continued his bluff, as the steam from his body continued to mix with the floating debris.
The hand villain and the warp gate villain began to whisper to each other. I bet that they've figured this out already. It's not hard to tell that All Might wasn't in the best shape. The thugs from earlier started to regain consciousness, surrounding us.
"I think All Might can hold his own against those two main guys." Kirishima activated his quirk. "Let's make sure these dudes don't hurt anybody else."
I turned back to Izuku, who was still focusing on his hero. Placing my hand on his shoulder, he turned his head to glance back at me. "Izuku, we have other villains to deal with-"
I cut myself off at the sight of both villains rushing the number one hero. To my surprise, Izuku leaped to punch the warp gate, shattering both of his legs in the process. That idiot!
The blue haired villain stuck his hand through one of the portals, ready to make contact with Izuku's face. I didn't see his quirk before, but I'm assuming it has something to do with his hands. Sending out my blood ropes, I attempted to wrap them around the man's hand. No, I won't make it in time!
*Bang* A bullet pierced through the villain's hand, as my boyfriend crashed to the ground. Taking the place by his side, I noticed the shooter, Snipe.
I let out a sigh of relief. "Took them long enough." Kneeling to the ground, I helped the green haired boy to sit up. "Are you alright... actually that's a stupid question. Sorry."
He let out an exhausted laugh. "I'm as okay as I'm gonna be."
After being shot at least five times by Snipe, the hand villain retreated along with the warp gate. Thirteen attempted to suck Kurogiri up, but he was too quick, as the two vanished. What a coward, he left all of his comrades here! All of the other pros were able to swiftly take out the villains and save us.
"You should regroup with the others." Izuku suggested as he watched the other three walk off. "I'll be okay."
"But-" He wants to talk to All Might alone, doesn't he? "Alright, I'll let you be an All Might fanboy alone."
"Thank you, (Y/n)." He grinned, as I kissed his cheek.
-Outside of the USJ-
The building was surrounded by police cars, as our class huddled together on the sidewalk. We watched as villains were brought out one by one, each shackled to the person in front of them. Detective Tsukauchi read off the list of names, making sure that we were all accounted for.
Other than the higher ups in the Commission, Sir Nighteye, and Katsumi, the Detective knew about my... situation. I was told that I could trust him, since he was close with All Might and even knew about OFA (not that I could let him know that I know that). He usually dealt with the legal action behind my missions, preventing me from being caught and taking care of the actual arrests. He was a really cool person, even though he wasn't a pro hero.
After the day was over, I received an expected phone call.
"Hello, Chairwoman."
"Tsutsumi, I heard about the incident at the USJ. I was already discussing this with the other higher ups, but everyone already made up their minds."
"No 'are you alright' or 'I'm glad you didn't reveal your identity'?"
"There were no casualties and you're not specifically in a news article, so I don't think formalities really matter right now."
"Fine, what did you decide?"
"A select group of UA facility members will be told about your situation in the event that this League of Villains group attacks again. You can understand where I'm coming from."
"Not that I have a say in your decisions, but why's that really necessary? If you need me to deal with these guys, then wouldn't it be outside of school?"
"They targeted your school because of All Might. Who knows, they might do it again."
"Okay, then who's on the list?"
"Just three people: Eraserhead, Recovery Girl, and Principal Nezu."
"Recovery Girl?"
"Yes, you can heal yourself, but it's quite slow when you have major injuries. If you break any bones or pierce any organs on a mission, you don't want the whole school to put two and two together."
"Oh, I guess I haven't thought of that."
"Splendid. I'll see you in an hour for a new assignment."
"Yes, ma'am."
She hung up the phone, as I slumped into my bed. I literally just had a battle today. Why can't this be Hawks' problem? He's the actual pro!
