Chapter 132: Friend (Season 6, Episode 22)

While I was in the surveillance area of the hospital, sitting next to Kaina, a group of pro heroes plus Izuku stormed the mansion in Haibori Woods, where she was supposed to deliver him. It was empty, except for a recording of All For One. He had predicted Lady Nagant's actions before he had even told her about the mission. Bastard. After the message finished, the building exploded.

    The doctor said that Kaina wouldn't be waking up for a while, so they kicked me out. Not that I was happy about it, but I did understand. She was a villain in Japan's most secure prison, so it makes sense.

I had been staying at a makeshift hideout with my team, so returning to UA was a nice change. Honestly, I thought that Izuku would've been returning too, but then I remembered his letter. I should be out there with him, but the rain... I'm practically useless in this weather.

    The UA Barrier was insane, towering way above the normal walls. My classmates flocked me the second I walked into the door.

    "(Y/n)!" Katsumi tackled me to the ground. "How could you just disappear like that?! At least Midoriya left a letter!"

    "Sorry," I nervously laughed. "Just following orders."

    My phone vibrated in my pocket.

All Might:

Midoriya just had another run in with a hired gun and defeated him instantly!

(Y/n):

Seriously?!

I can't believe he's still going

Any talk of him taking a break yet

All Might:

No

He won't listen to me either

I tried to give him food and he told me to stay away

(Y/n):

That stubborn idiot

If it wasn't raining, I'd drag him back to UA by force

All Might:

I don't doubt that

    "Are you texting Deku?!" Bakugo stood behind me, as Katsumi and I sat on the floor. "Where the hell is he?!"

    This team up is a secret, so I can't tell anyone... not even Katsumi or Bakugo.

    "No, I'm texting All Might."

    "Really?"

    "Where have you been?!" Iida's arms were crossed, as he did the dad stance. "Do you know how worried we all were?"

    "I really am sorry." I looked away, remembering where I had just come from. "I just wanted to see my sister again."

    "You teamed up with Endeavor's group and Deku was there, wasn't he?" Bakugo reiterated. "Don't try to lie, I already know what you were doing. It's all over the news."

"I will admit, finding out you were a Commission hero was quite the shock." Iida adjusted his glasses, as he helped me off of the floor.

"I wouldn't say that I'm an official hero," I softly smiled. "My purpose was to be a placeholder for my sister, Lady Nagant." My smile faded, once I remembered our situation. "Even after all of my training, I wasn't able to protect her. Here I am, back at UA safe and sound, while he's still fighting."
