-A Few Days Later-
Quietly, I sat at my desk, as our class waited for our teacher or a substitute to show up. Class was canceled for the next few days, due to the incident, so I spent most of that time with Izuku and Katsumi.
"Psst!" Katsumi leaned over to me, handing me a note.
After giving her a confused glance, I opened it.
'Any inside info about those villains?'
I took out my pencil, scribbling below the line.
'No clue. The Chairwomen sent me on a mission, but it had nothing to do with this so-called League of Villains.'
"Damn," she muttered, as I handed her the note back.
The rest of the class was going on and on about how the pros were cool, but I didn't really care to join their conversation. I just can't get over the fact that All Might almost croaked.
"Attention!" Iida speed walked through the front of the room. "Homeroom class is about to begin! Everyone, stop talking and take your seats."
"Uh, we're all sitting," Kirishima pointed out.
"Yeah, you're the only one standing," Sero added.
The door slid open to reveal our homeroom teacher with his face and arms covered in bandages. "Morning class."
"Mr. Aizawa, what are you doing here?" everyone questioned out loud.
"My wellbeing is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet." They can't possibly be thinking of sending us after them, can they? "The UA Sports Festival is about to start."
"Ugh! Why would you scare us like that?" All of us shouted.
Kirishima stood up from his seat, enthusiastically. "Let's go kick some ass!"
"Is it really such a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jiro pondered.
"They could attack when we're all in the same place," Ojiro added.
That's highly unlikely, considering that their leader is wounded, and they literally abandoned all of their men at the USJ. Sure, they could have more, but it's too soon for another attack.
"Apparently, the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever," Mr. Aizawa explained. "Plus, they're beefing up security compared to past years. This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains."
"Um, I'm sorry but why not?" Mineta shuttered with fear. "It's just a sports festival!"
"Huh?" Izuku turned back to look at the pervert behind him. "Mineta, don't you know how important this competition is?"
"Of course I do," Mineta barked back. "I just don't wanna get murdered."
"I hope he does get murdered." Katsumi whispered, earning a giggle from me and Momo.
"Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world," our homeroom teacher continued. "In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympic games, but then quirks started appearing. Now, the Olympics have been drastically reduced in terms of scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters: The UA Sports Festival."
