It had been a little over a month since Mirai's passing. I was doing much better, but the heaviness always weighed on my heart. Mr. Aizawa also let me talk to him whenever I was feeling down, since he was my teacher. The work studies were put on hold from this incident, not that we would've been able to go back anyway. Centipeder sure has his work cut out for him, since he decided to take over the Nighteye Agency. It warms my heart to see them carry on his name.

On top of that, Eri regained consciousness and recovered from the fever that's been plaguing her ever since our mission. It's too bad her quirk's been deemed unstable and can't have any visitors. I'd really like to get to know this girl.

Today, we had a very hardcore math class with Ectoplasm. Math is usually easy for me, but I had no fucking clue what he was yapping about. Izuku even took a stab at answering one of the questions. He didn't get it either.

"You seemed really into that class, Izuku." I giggled, as Ochao, Iida, and I stood by his desk after class.

"Yes!" Iida grinned. "I applaud the effort you're putting into your studies! However, before we feed our brains, we need to feed our bodies!"

    "Mmhm!" Izuku nodded. "I'm starvi-"

All of a sudden, Aoyama appeared out of nowhere, shoving a piece of cheese in my boyfriend's mouth. What the fuck?!

    "Please. Have some fromage."

The green haired boy jumped back, trying to process the event that just occurred. He almost started choking but managed to get the piece of cheese to fit in his mouth. "Thank you."

"This cheese is called Pont-l'Eveque," the French boy explained. "It's mild and perfect for snacking."

As Aoyama extended the napkin that held two more slices of cheese, Izuku put his hands up, signaling that he didn't want anymore.

"Oh! I'm good, still chewin' on the piece I already have in my mouth, uh, but thanks anyway."

"Why don't you come have lunch with us in the cafeteria?" Iida offered. "I've noticed you usually eat by yourself, Aoyama."

    That's so sad. I can't believe I haven't noticed that before.

"Non!" The blonde bent forward, stretching his arms out. Why do people like to Jojo pose so much? "Lunch Rush's food doesn't agree with my refined palate."

He went back to his seat, eating his fancy meal and... How are these kids getting wine?!

"Well, to each their own, I suppose," Iida waved. The class rep isn't going to say anything either?!  "We're not going to force you. Now, time to eat."

Over this past month, I'd been staying with Izuku almost every night since my brother's passing. Not being alone at night in the comfort of my boyfriend's arms helped me fall asleep.

Tonight, I decided to give him a break, so I went to sleep in my own room, soon falling asleep to some random movie I put on.

    "Useless."

"Who said that?!" I snapped my head back, seeing nothing but black around me.

Someone, who looked like Lady Hecate, emerged from the shadows. Her gun was extended from her elbow, covered in a dark red liquid.

"Stop trying to be a hero." The figure talked emotionlessly. "You know there's no point anymore. He's dead. She's gone. Your boyfriend and friends will just meet the same fate if you continue this path. Can't you see."

    "See what?!"

Next to her, the corpse of Mirai and two other adults appeared. A man with (h/c) hair, and a woman with blue and pink hair. All three of them walked like zombies. On the other side, hung a shackled Kaina. She looked no different from the last day that I saw her, over six years ago.

"Why (Y/n)?" The corpse of my brother dropped to his knees, as bloody tears filled his eyes. "You could've stopped Overhaul before anyone had to fight. It's your fault I'm dead. Was I that unimportant to you?"

"Of course you were important to me, I-"

"(Y/n)?" The two other adults spoke in unison. "You never should've been born! You useless child! If it weren't for you being so much like Kaina, then she wouldn't have had to kill us!"

"What?"

"You heard them right," Lady Hecate evilly laughed. "When your parents found out that your quirk was similar to your sister's, they tried to kill you."

"No... You're lying!"

"And why would I do that? You know it but blocked it out."

"Stop it!" I gripped my hair harshly. "Shut up! My parents loved me!"

"They did... Until they realized that you had the potential to become a murderer, just like the woman you look up to."

"I'd never kill anyone! I'm a hero!"

Lady Hecate raised her gun to my forehead, before a loud bang erupted. "You only cause the ones you love to suffer."

I shot up from my bed, panting. "What the hell was that?"

The time on the clock read 12:29 AM. It must've been a nightmare. Maybe sleeping alone was a bad idea.

After finding my boyfriend's room, I knocked on the door. I could hear footsteps, before the door slightly cracked open.

"Phew." My boyfriend sighed, before fully opening the door. "I thought you were someone else."

"You were expecting someone this late?" I tilted my head.

"No, uh..." He opened his door, allowing me to step inside. "Let me just show you."

The green haired boy took my hand in his own, as he led me to the balcony... which was covered in cheese.

"Oh my,"  I gasped. "What am I even looking at?"

On the ground, 'Midoriya, I know' was spelled out in cheese.

"Aoyama snuck over to my balcony and did this," Izuku sweat dropped. "I heard him, so I just stayed in bed until I didn't hear anything anymore. Then... this was here."

"That's creepy as fuck." Could he be talking about OFA? No, he's not that smart, or is he? "Maybe he's just trying to play a prank on you or something."

"I hope that's it." After making sure the door was locked, Izuku shut the curtains. He then proceeded to get back into his bed, patting the spot next to him. "So, why are you awake this late?"

Joining him, I wrapped my arms around his chest, nuzzling my face into his neck. "Nightmare."

"About your brother?" The green haired boy pressed his lips to my forehead, while he rubbed circles on my back. I nodded in response. "You know you can stay the night with me as long as you need to."

"I know. I just didn't want you to get tired of me."

"I don't think that's possible."

The next day, we were almost late to class, earning a scolding from Iida. Truth is, we wanted to avoid seeing Aoyama in the dorms.

During our hero class, we were instructed to work on our ultimate moves, so I was practicing using Blood Geyser. I will say, it's annoying to have to make incisions on my feet before putting my hero shoes on. But that's the only way for it to work. My troubles were mostly keeping balance, but I was slowly getting the hang of it. Getting places quickly is one of the most important parts of being a hero. Without speed... people will die before you show up.

I had to learn that the hard way.
