A few days ago, the faculty at UA decided to station our class on a heroless island to help out. By working together, we were able to form our own temporary agency. There were no villains or real crimes on the island though. Just normal people who needed help with everyday things.
The phone rang once again, causing Mina to pick it up. "UA Hero Agency... Sure, I'll send someone right away." The pink girl put the phone back on the receiver. "Kaminari, head to the west district. Mr. Matsada's battery's dead."
The blonde stood up from his chair with a huff. "Geez, again? Why can't the old man buy a new one already?"
"Go get him, Chargebolt!" Mina cheered.
"Yeah!" Ochaco, Izuku, Katsumi, Kyoka, and I joined.
Most of our class was out and about, patrolling at the beach and handling other tasks. Only a third of us remained in our temporary agency building.
"Lost child in the shop center," Ochaco said. "Is there anyone available to come with me?"
"Hard pass." Bakugo laid on his back, reading some kind of Magazine. Katsumi laid next to him, also peering up at the pages.
"Yeah. You're obviously so busy, Bakugo." Kirishima stood up.
"I'll go," I offered. "I think I'm going to lose my mind if I hear one more phone ring."
"We have a missing kid?" Kyoka grabbed her jack. "Sounds like I'm up."
"I can help look too," Izuku smiled.
Outside of the building, we devised a plan to make the search faster. Izuku had a red and white life preserver around him, while Kyoka, Ochaco, and I held on, lightened by her Zero Gravity. The green haired boy then used his power to run us through the town. I don't even want to know what would happen if I let go right now.
-Flashback-
"The Hero Work Recommendation Project." A screen of an island appeared behind Mr. Aizawa, as he faced the class. "You'll be stationed here on Naboo Island in Southern Japan. Seems their previous heroes and residents are old and retired. So, the lucky people of Naboo Island will have you until a successor arrives."
-End Flashback-
Stationing a bunch of kids at a random island, where help is at least an hour boat ride away? Totally safe. Nothing is going to go wrong. Except for Gertrude. She seems like she's on the verge of kicking the bucket if I'm being completely honest.
We went to the shopping center to ask around, but we had no luck. It took an hour or so of walking around before Kyoka finally heard something near the playground. Not wanting to waste any more time, Izuku used OFA to get to the kid's location quicker.

Kyoka, Ochaco, and I showed up a few minutes after to see Izuku being scolded by a child.
"There he is," Ochaco huffed.
"So, do you think you can do your job properly next time, Deku?" The girl that was scolding him wore a sunhat and had light brown hair, which was tied into pigtails. She also wore a black tank top with pink overalls and matching sandals.
"Uh, yeah," he sweat dropped. "I'll try to be a little bit faster."
The girl called out to her little brother, who we were supposed to find, telling him to follow her. The boy with the sunhat, white t-shirt, and blue overalls was about to go after her, but ended up going to my boyfriend.
"Um, mister? Thanks for your help."
"You don't need to thank him for anything!" The girl grabbed her brother's hand, before running off with him.
"Hey, what's going on with those two?" The brunette questioned.
"Damn, you really let that kid walk all over you," I giggled.
"Yeah, why were you apologizing?" Kyoka added.
"Apparently, I took too long to find him, so his sister yelled at me," he chuckled.
"Huh, that's ridiculous!" The purple haired girl gasped.
"Still, I'm glad Katsuma's safe, and that's all that matters." Izuku gave us the reassuring smile that he always gives. He's too nice for his own good.
"Well, it's a good thing you got here before me." Jokingly, I pointed over to the ledge. "Cause there's a nice-looking cliff right over there-"
"(Y/n)!" The three shouted.
"What?" I shrugged. "Did you actually think I would throw her off the cliff?" No one responded. "It was a joke! Do you guys think that low of me?!"
-Later That Day-
Those old folks sure loved to take us up on our offer. After helping find that kid, the four of us were sent on five more tasks, all back-to-back. When we finally returned to the "agency", we were able to change into our comfy clothes (a t-shirt and gym pants).
"I'm exhausted," Sato groaned.
"We've gone beyond what's allowed by the Labor Standards Act." Kaminari is so real for that.
Sero raised his arm, tiredly. "Hey, uh. How about fewer small jobs."
"No can do!" Iida literally stayed here for the majority of the day. The only thing he did was carry an old woman who hurt her back. "All jobs are equally vital."
"It may be true that we're here as heroes, but remember, we're still just students," Momo added. "We have to work hard and prove ourselves to gain the islander's trust."
"Hey, uh, do you mean for all of us cause I know someone who hasn't done anything since we've got here." Mineta smugly pointed at Bakugo.
"Well, somebody's gotta stay behind and watch the office moron," the blonde growled. "What're you gonna do if a villain shows up while all of you geniuses are doing stupid crap, huh?"
"Oh, come on," Kirishima smiled. "There aren't any villains on this island."
"Sorry for barging in." The door opened, revealing a group of the island residents. Each person had some kind of food or drink in their hands.
"Mr. Mayor." Iida leapt up to greet them.
A brunette woman with a bun bowed to the class rep, as she handed him a platter of food. "It was so sweet of you to carry granny to the hospital earlier."
"And thanks for fixing that old bike of mine."
"And my battery."
"And for keeping the beach safe!"
Soon enough, the table was filled with various kinds of seafood and vegetables. "Just a little something to show how grateful we are that you're helping us."
"All right, let's dig in!" We all cheered with glee.
"We're all heroes, show some restraint!" Iida yelled.
After thanking the lovely people, we polished off all of the delicious food.
