Izuku, Kirishima, and Kaminari were making sure that All Might was alright, so I went back to practicing. The doors to Gym Gamma swung open, which led me to stop and look at the door. In came Class B's teacher, alongside Monoma and Kendo. Here we go again.
"Class B is scheduled to use this training room every afternoon," Vlad King complained. "Eraser, get your kids out of our way."
"You're not trying to kick us out early when we have a whole ten minutes left, are you?" Mr. Aizawa frowned.
"Hey, did ya hear?" Monoma smirked. "The license exam has a 50% pass rate. That means your entire class might fail."
The boy hysterically laughed. He doesn't need the test; he needs a one-way trip to the psych ward.
"Unfortunately, his observations are correct," Tokoyami huffed. "If we're taking the same exam, then we'll crush each other. That's the hand fate has dealt us."
"And why we won't be in the same location," our teacher revealed. "Our classes applied to different spots."
"There are two exam days," Vlad King continued. "In June and in September. And the tests are held in three different places. We don't want students from the same place fighting. We split you up. Each school has at most one class at a single location."
"How sad we won't be able to face each other directly." I'm almost positive that Monoma was relieved at that explanation.
"Very few first years in the country try for a provisional license," Mr. Aizawa continued. "In other words, the test will be made up of students who've trained longer than you, and with quirks you don't know about. Ones that are powerful." Oh shit. People know about our quirks from the sports festival. "The actual content of the exam is a mystery, but you can expect that you'll have a rough time. Try not to get hung up about that but keep it in mind."
"Yes, sir!"
-In the Common Room-
As usual, the girls of Class A were congregating on the couches. The only thing on our minds was the licensing exam.
"Does it have to be this hard?" Mina groaned, plopping onto the couch.
"Well, it's not called intensive training for nothing," Toru giggled.
"That's true," Momo agreed. "But it's strange to think there's only a week left before the exam."
"Yeah, time really flew by." Katsumi took a sip of her Capri-Sun.
"Momo, how's your ultimate move coming?" Toru asked the raven-haired girl.
She placed her hand on her face, sighing. "There's something I really wanna do, but my body just isn't ready yet. I need time to develop my quirk and improve my general endurance."
"How 'bout you, Tsu?" Toru questioned the frog girl.
"I've perfected a move that makes me even more froglike than before," she revealed. "I'm sure even you'd look surprised, Toru."
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of green outside of the window. I guess Izuku's practicing again. I really wish I could help him, but I can't really do much without letting him know that I know the truth about his power.
As I watched him, I didn't even notice that my invisible friend was speaking to me. "What's your story, (Y/n)?"
It took Katsumi tapping on my shoulder a few times before I realized that I was zoning out. "Sorry, I got distracted."
