Mushrooms appeared on every visible surface around Momo and Toru. Aoyama and Tokoyami were still in the air, but they weren't free from the mushrooms either.
"Look, they're growing over the camera," Ochaco pointed out.
"Gag," Kyoka cringed.
"I wanna eat one," Katsumi blurted.
"No you don't," I sweat dropped.
As Momo and Toru were wiping the mushrooms off of their bodies, they were attacked with words. Literal words. Fukidashi created giant words out of concrete, simply by talking. There was more than the attack itself that was the problem. These words also separated our class deputy, invisible girl, and the tag team from each other. Not even Aoyama's laser beam could cut through the quirk. They probably wanted Momo alone, especially since they haven't seen her in action since her mess up at the festival. She's come a long way though. I believe in her!
"Komori and Fukidashi came to Kuroiro's rescue," Vlad King commented. "Now, attacking in waves, they're giving Class A's team a hard time from a distance. My kids are showing their superior strength!"
Mina pulled her sign back out. "Again with the biased commentary!"
"Yeah, stop!" I joined Mineta, Todoroki, Ochaco, and Kyoka with the bigger sign.
Kendo launched a surprise attack, which Momo barely blocked with her shield. This battle quickly turned into an endurance test, as the raven-haired girl kept throwing up more shields.
"She designed a situation where she's got a total advantage!" Tetsutetsu marveled. "Her plan was right on the money! What did I say? Our girl is smart and decisive even when she's under pressure! That's our brilliant rep, Kendo, for ya!"
"I'm not convinced this was the smartest move on her part," Todoroki admitted. "If Yaoyorozu was separated because they feared her planning, then they might've misjudged her."
"One cannon shot and Kendo's done for," I nodded.
"If they were so worried about Yaoyorozu, then their team should've tried to disrupt her strategy from the very start," the half and half boy continued. "This predicament is still well within what she could've anticipated. And since it's within her expectations, she should be able to create a path that will lead her to victory. This is what Momo Yaoyorozu excels at!"
The three shields that the black-haired girl used to defend herself were finally knocked away. Kendo was about to make the final blow, before Momo pulled out the cannon. Thinking that she was going to aim for the wall, Class B's rep went to intercept the projectile, but missed. Whatever flew out of that cannon went over the wall. She let herself be defeated?
Tokoyami got a hold of the bag, which was shot from the cannon. Yaoyorozu's Lucky Bag? That's an interesting name. Oh, it seems like Aoyama was captured. Didn't see that either. Opening the bag, the bird boy pulled out thermal goggles and ethanol.
Spraying themselves, Tokoyami and Toru were mushroom free. Toru engaged in a one-on-one battle with Fukidashi, while her teammate went after the other two.
Komori was captured by Dark Shadow and Kuroiro was stuck in Tokoyami's cloak. They're really killing it out there!
"Woah, dang!" Mineta cheered. "He caught two enemies! He's turned the tables!"
"They couldn't have done it without Momo's Lucky Bag!" I grinned.
"Hagakure's doing awesome too," Midoriya chuckled. "If they keep going like this, they can win it four-to-one."
