Once we were out of Shigaraki's range, I landed next to Izuku, who looked pretty out of it.
"Izuku?" I placed my hand on his shoulder, as he continued to watch Burnin with a terrified look on his face.
She spoke into her com device on a channel we weren't authorized to be on. "Wait, what's a One For All? Endeavor are you there?!"
Wait, do the villains know about Izuku?!
"I've gotta get over there and help him out!" Burnin shouted. "You kids should fall back and evacuate."
"Burnin, wait!" Izuku yelled after her, but she had already flown off.
"Listen to the police and keep your distance!"
"Shigaraki is heading straight toward the evacuees!" Endeavor warned through the headset. "The battle zone is expanding. Clear the area surrounding the city!"
As the line of survivors began to pick up the pace, Izuku ran off in the other direction, capturing the attention of Bakugo, Katsumi, and myself.
"You can't tell them your secret," Bakugo started. "The heroes would try to split their forces to protect you and the civilians."
"Yeah, I know!" My boyfriend huffed.
"The only thing they know right now is that he's after One For All," Katsumi added. "It's not a lot of info to go on."
"It's a hero's job, so you only have one choice." I frowned, knowing what that entailed.
Bakugo and Izuku used their quirks to propel themselves in the air, while Katsumi and I stuck to our flying methods, as we cleared the buildings that were still intact.
"I need to make sure that the evacuees can be protected," the green haired boy explained.
"Yeah, which means you gotta get outta here quick," the blonde grunted.
"Hey, where are you four going?!" Todoroki shouted from below.
"Uh, I left something! I'll be right back!"
"Nice cover up," I sweat dropped.
Izuku swung through the buildings with ease, using Black Whip, while us other three followed close behind. What I don't understand is how Shigaraki knows where we are. How is he certain that there are UA students here? Let alone that they're helping evacuations.
The green haired boy spoke into his earpiece, as we continued to head to the remnants of Jaku Hospital. "Deku here. Sorry for using a private line. It's highly possible that I'm the one Shigaraki's after."
"What are you talking about?" Endeavor replied.
"I might be able to lure him into an unpopulated area! Please keep this channel open!"
"Why would Shigaraki be coming after you? Explain yourself now!"
"It'll have to wait. I'm too far away to have eyes on him, especially given all the dust in the air. If it looks like he's changing directions, can you give me a heads up?"
"I don't like being in the dark... He's down! New course! He's moving to the southwest!"
"Yeah. Pretty much what I expected! I can buy you more time. You evacuate the civilians!" There ain't no way in hell Izuku just told Endeavor what to do.
"What?!" The pro angrily roared. "Okay, heads up! Shigaraki is now heading southwest! He has super regeneration somehow! Nobody underestimate him!"
