Sir Nighteye, Bubble Girl, and I split ways with Togata and Izuku.
"Why didn't you let me go with the other two interns?" I questioned as we walked.
"Our group is the one looking after the target, as you already know." The green and yellow haired man looked forward, not even bothering to turn around. "I also thought that there might be 'problems' if I let you and Midoriya work together."
"What?!" My face heated up rapidly. "I'm not stupid enough to let him distract me in school, let alone on patrol!"
"Oooh," Bubbled Girl cooed. "Does someone have a crush?"
"Oh, Izuku's actually my boyfriend."
"Aww!"
"Ahem." The hero beside us coughed, causing us to stop our conversation. "Here isn't the place to talk about this. And besides, I thought it would be better to keep you close, since you don't follow directions well."
"Like when?" I retorted.
"That time when the Commission told you to disarm someone."
"How was I supposed to know that she wanted me to knock his gun away and not cut his arms off?!"
"Jeez, sometimes I don't understand how you made it this far."

For the next fifteen minutes, we watched one of the Shie Hassaikai's locations. There was a giant wall that surrounded the various massive buildings inside, preventing us from seeing much.
"They may be weaker than they used to be, but the Yakuza still know how to pick a stronghold," Bubble Girl commented. "Nice, high walls and not too many windows, right?"
My phone began to buzz. "Who's calling me during school hours?" Looking at the caller ID, I saw that it was Izuku.
He didn't even give me time to speak, as I picked up. "(Y/n), we just ran into Chisaki."
"After a week and a half of surveillance, I feel that there are fewer comings and goings today," Sir Nighteye mumbled.
"What?!" My jaw dropped as I turned to the hero and the sidekick. "It's Izuku. He said that they came into contact with Chisaki."

We immediately met back up with the two near the sighting, as the rain began to pour.
"Sorry!" Togata apologized. "It was a total oops. I mean, wow, what are the odds of randomly running into a target on the street like that?"
"No, I must accept responsibility," Sir Nighteye countered. "I should have used Foresight on you two. It's my fault."
"I'm just glad you guys are okay," Bubble Girl admitted. "You could've been in danger if he'd suspected something."
"It didn't feel all that scary to me," Izuku frowned.
"Should've let me disarm the guy-"
"Will you stop that?!" The green and yellow haired man scoffed, before facing the two boys. "Chisaki and his gang were involved in a recent traffic accident caused by a bunch of hoodlums. Which isn't remarkable in and of itself. Except, there were zero casualties. The thieves experienced intense pain and lost consciousness, but they were uninjured and even reported that pre-existing ailments like rheumatism and cavities were completely gone. The authorities believed Chisaki's quirk may have been responsible, but with the villains caught and nobody harmed, there was no crime to accuse him of." I've gotta admit, that's some skill he's got going on there.
"The money that was stolen burned up, so there was nothing left to recover," Bubble Girl added. "The police didn't find any sign of a crime in that regard, either, but the whole thing seemed suspicious, so Nighteye Agency began watching the Hassaikai. We haven't figured out what it is yet, but we know they're up to something."
"Oh, I forgot. Sir." Togata raised his left arm, as if he were asking the teacher a question in class. "We got lucky, at least a little. Our brief encounter yielded some new intel. Chisaki, he has a daughter."
"A daughter?" Sir Nighteye reiterated.
That wacko has a kid? With who?!
Izuku clenched his fist. "A little girl who he called Eri. Her limbs were all wrapped in bandages. I don't know anything else about her, but she was asking for help. There must be something we can do to protect her."
"I won't let your arrogance interfere with this case," Sir Nighteye frowned. Although I wanted to disagree, I knew he was right. Even if we wanted to rush in, we couldn't, since we didn't have any evidence on Chisaki. Not to mention, the Hassaikai might catch on to us and flee. "Haste won't help the situation. Take your time pursuing a target. If you rush, they are that much more likely to escape. You're not so special that you can save whoever you want whenever you want." The green haired boy looked at the ground with disappointment, as the hero continued. "We've asked other agencies to team up with us. We must first predict our opponent's moves and then make preparations to face him. Good intentions alone aren't enough to save the world. The wisest villains hide in the shadows. In order to find them, we must watch and wait. The three of you should head back into the office for today." He turned to his sidekick. "Bubble Girl, let's go."
"Yes, sir."
The two walked off, probably back to the spot where we just were. Izuku and Togata both stood in the rain, angry at themselves for leaving the girl behind. I wasn't there, so I don't really have the right to say that she'll be okay. My hand found its way into my boyfriend's, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"Come on. We should head back before the rain gets heavier."
-The Next Day in Class-
Ugh, I hate this place. I'm actually going to die if I have to sit through one of Present Mic's confusing ass classes again.
"So, like. What happened to Bakugo? Was he fighting again?" After hearing Mina's voice, I looked at the blonde, seeing the various band aids and bruises that covered his face.
"He's not the only one busted up," Kaminari commented. "Look at the back of the room."
Poor Todoroki and Katsumi were also covered in various injuries that were poorly covered by the bandages.
"You look like you got hit by a bus." I giggled, pointing to the patch on my friend's cheek.
"Actually, I ran into a pole during my classes," the white-haired girl shrugged. "There's a difference."
"Class is starting now!" Iida announced, as he stretched his arm. "Sadly, I must mark Tsu and Uraraka tardy."
"Their absences are excused," Momo corrected.
"Kirishima isn't here either, is he?" Kyoka commented.
Oh, that's right. Kirishima is interning with Amajiki at Fatgum Agency, and Ochaco and Tsu are working with Hado at Ryukyu Agency. I hope everything is going well for them.
My eyes darted to the boy three seats in front of me. Izuku seemed lost in thought as he stared at his desk. He must still be thinking about Eri. I'm just hoping that Mirai's decision to recruit other agencies will help us save her quicker.
Once again, Izuku spaced out during one of Cementos' lectures, earning him a smack on the head with the book we were reading. Then again, when he almost drowned in the lake at the USJ. I even tried to call him after school, but it went straight to voicemail. That's odd.
