The four of us were escorted to the hospital for our injuries to be checked out at Hosu General Hospital. We were all admitted overnight, so I had to hope and pray that the Detective saved my bag. My ribs were still slowly fusing themselves back together, but I'll probably be good as new in 24 hours. For some reason, they kept all four of us in the same room. I didn't mind though, since it wouldn't be too fun to be stuck in a white room all alone.

"Did you sleep, Midoriya?" Todoroki asked.

    "No, not really," he admitted.

    "I figured. Me neither."

"Thinking about that fight now, we did something pretty amazing," Izuku realized.

    "Yeah, I agree."

"After everything that happened back there it kinda feels like a miracle we're even alive." The green haired boy stared at the ceiling from the bed across from mine. "With my leg messed up, I was an easy target. He probably could've killed me if he really wanted to."

"Yeah, it seems to me that he let both of you live on purpose," I concluded. Now that I think about it, he tried to kill me too even though I acted just as those two did. Did he see through me and know what I have done? No... that's impossible.

"I'm impressed by you, Iida," Todoroki said. "He was actually trying to murder you, but you stood tall."

"That's not true," Iida denied. "I was-"

The door opened, revealing Gran Torino, and Manual.

"Oh, so the injured younglings are awake," Gran Torino spouted sarcastically, before looking at his student. "Idiot. I could yell at you for hours right now."

"Yeah, I'm sorry," Izuku said in a hushed voice.

"But before I do, you've got a visitor." A giant dog man entered the room, causing the elderly hero to explain. "This is Hosu's chief of police, Kenji Tsuragamae."

Todoroki, Iida, and I stood up in respect for the man. Izuku tried to as well, before the man stopped him. "No, please stay seated, woof. So, you're the UA students who brought down the Hero Killer, huh?"

"We are," Todoroki answered.

"Stain has some serious injuries," the dog explained. "Severe burns and several broken bones. Right now, he's in the hospital under strict guard, woof. Here's a lesson you should have already learned. When quirks became the norm, the police force sought to maintain the status quo. They decided we wouldn't use quirks as weapons." Yeah, tell that to the Chairwoman. "That's when heroes came in. They could do what we couldn't, if they were licensed, of course, woof. It would be impossible for the police to condone the use of deadly quirks. After all, we're here to stop such harm from being done. The only reason pros can use their powers now is because of the strict code of ethics that the early heroes chose to abide by. That's why it's against the law for uncertified people to use their quirks to cause injury. Whether you were up against the Hero Killer or not, none of you had the authority to harm the villain. That means the four of you, and your supervisors-- Endeavor, Manual, Sir Nighteye, and Gran Torino-- should receive harsh punishments for this gross abuse of your powers."

"Now wait a minute," Todoroki growled. "If Iida had not stepped in, Native would've been murdered. And if not for Midoriya and Tsutsumi, both of them would be dead. No one else even realized that the Hero Killer was in Hosu."

"He's right," I added. "Are you saying that we should've just waited for the pros to show up to a dead body, while we were perfectly capable of stalling for time?"
