Her face turned red, as she instinctively let go of the railing to cover her cheeks.

"Don't let go!" I shouted, as I released my grip, following her.

Thirteen will probably stop using their quirk, so they don't kill any of their students. I was right. Once Ochaco was a few feet away from the teacher, Black Hole stopped.

Quickly creating blood from my palm, I shot out a rope, wrapping it around Thirteen's torso. After Ochaco had landed, she got the restraint cuffs out and put them on our opponent.

The two of us walked back to the main watch room as an awkward silence filled in around us.

"I'm sorry that I yelled at you earlier," I apologized. "It just felt like you weren't as into this as I was."

"No, no." The brunette waved her hands around. "It's my fault! I should've listened to your plan instead of pushing it off. I was just so nervous that we wouldn't be as good as the other groups."

I let out a tiny laugh before regaining a serious composure. I need to know. "Ochaco, be honest. You like Izuku, don't you?" Her face turned red once again. "That's the reason you've been avoiding me, which led to Mr. Aizawa putting us together for the final."

"... I didn't mean to upset you, (Y/n)," the brunette admitted. "I guess I was just envious of how close the two of you were. You're a really great friend and I don't want our friendship to end, but... you like him too, don't you?"

"Was it that obvious?" I giggled. "I've liked him since our first year of junior high... and then we started dating our second year..."

"Wait, really?! I'm so sorry, I didn't know!"

"It's alright," I waved her off. "We were keeping it a secret because of Bakugo, but he sorta found out anyway."

"Right now, I know I should be focusing on being a hero." She smiled, as she stood in front of me. "I don't want to go after someone who's taken, especially if it gets in the way of our friendship, so I'll back off. Just... Please don't mention this to anyone, especially him."

"Of course not." I shook her hand. "I'm just glad to be your friend, Ochaco."

"Me too, (Y/n)."

I felt bad for telling her off, but I didn't have a choice. Well, at least everything solved itself in the end and we passed the final.

We walked through the halls, as we heard a bell ring. "Team Ashido and Kaminari have failed due to the time expiring."

"What? Mina's team lost their battle?" Ochaco frowned, as soon as the doors to the watching room opened.

There stood Izuku, Iida, Tsu, and Momo.

"Yes," Momo answered. "The principal's game plan was flawless; they just couldn't beat him."

"That's terrible." Not to be mean, but I saw it coming. The principal has a hefty IQ, making him smarter than most humans. Thirty minutes to beat someone like him is quite unreasonable.

"Oh man, they must be crushed," the brunette huffed.

"But you two passed." Iida changed the subject. "Congratulations!"

"Thanks, you too, Iida," the two of us said in unison.

"So, what were you talking to (Y/n) about right before the end of your match against Thirteen?" Tsu asked.
