Chapter 75: An Unpleasant Talk (Season 4, Episode 6)

-The Next Day-

"Uh, Midoriya! Tsutsumi!" Kirishima waved to the two of us as we stepped outside of the dormitory. "Good morning. Are you two headed off to your work study, too?"

    "Yeah, we finally got called in again," Izuku smiled. "It feels like it's been forever."

    "I wonder why they said not to wear our costumes," I pondered.

    The door behind us opened, revealing Ochaco and Tsu.

    "Oh! Good morning, guys!" The brunette called out. "You going in today?"

    "Yeah," my boyfriend nodded.

    "Huh, so are we," Tsu confirmed. "That's kinda weird."

    Even on the way to the station, we ran into some local pro heroes who were taking the same train as us. That's weird. When we got off, we headed in the same direction. Making it to Nighteye Agency, we were met with Togata, Hado, and Amajiki. Even when we entered the building, there were various heroes. Mr. Aizawa and Gran Torino?

    As our friends went off to question their mentors, I stayed with Izuku, nudging his ribcage. "Hey, you think this has something to do with the team up thing Sir Nighteye was talking about?"

    "Probably." He brought his hand to his chin. "That would make the most sense."

    "We're all here, Nighteye," a blonde woman in a red dress spoke up. I think that's the girl Katsumi interned with, Ryukyu. "Let's get started."

    My brother stood at the front of the room as his sidekicks stood on either side of him. "Thanks to the information provided by all of you, our investigation has progressed substantially. We've invited you all here for a joint conference to share intel we've acquired. Regarding the Yakuza group Shie Hassaikai and what we believe they might be planning."

    Everyone filed into the meeting room, which consisted of several long tables that were pushed together to form a giant rectangle. Sir Nighteye sat at the head of the table, while the heroes and interns sat on the sides. Centipeder also stood at the front with Bubble Girl, who was in charge of reading the conclusion of the investigation.

    "All right, let's begin at the beginning. For the past couple of weeks now, those of us at Nighteye Agency have been conducting an investigation into Shie Hassaikai, a small but organized group of criminals."

    "What prompted this?" Some random hero (that I never heard of) interrogated.

    "An accident involving a gang of thieves called the Reservoir Dogs," Bubble Girl continued. That's a lame ass name.

    "Yeah, I heard about that," another hero spouted.

    "The police thought the whole thing was an accident, but there were a number of details that didn't add up, so we began tailing them."

    "In my capacity as a Nighteye Agency sidekick, I began following leads to see what I could uncover," Centipeder explained. "I found that, in the past year, the members of Shie Hassaikai have had increased contact with those outside of their organization, including other groups whose business dealings are less than reputable. Their aim seemed to be expanding their organization and enriching its coffers. Shortly after our investigation began, they made contact with a member of the League of Villains." A screen appeared behind the man, showing a picture of Chisaki and Twice talking next to a car. This must've been the cause for the Chairwoman sending us out that night. "Jin Bubaigawara, villain name, Twice. They were wary of being tailed, so I was unable to follow them, but with the help of the police and the Commission, I confirmed that an altercation had occurred between the two groups."
