Team five finally returned to the watch deck for their evaluation. The sun's already setting. How long were we out here?
"Uh, let's just start with Midoriya," Mr. Aizawa began. "What was going on with you?"
"Uh, well..." He looked taken aback, even though he should've expected this question.
"A sinister darkness manifested in you," Tokoyami brought up.
"You were raging out there," Kuroiro added. "Was that your quirk?"
"It may be a new move, but it was different from your normal super strength," Kirishima reasoned.
The green haired boy lowered his head, staring at his right palm. "Yeah, you're right. I'm trying to figure out what it was myself. I was overflowing with power and couldn't hold it back. It was like something I'd trusted up until now suddenly bared its fangs at me. I was terrified. I didn't know what was going on." He picked his head up. "But thanks to Uraraka and Shinso stopping me, I was able to get a handle on things. And I realized that whatever this is, it isn't something I should fear." Maybe All Might was right. He is doing better without me in the way. Whatever. As long as he's okay, then it doesn't matter if I'm in the picture or not. Right? "If Shinso hadn't made me calm down with his brainwashing, I don't know how things would've gone. Shinso asked if my lack of control was a trick, but I really had no idea what was happening. So, thanks to the both of you!"
"What a thrill!" Midnight cheered. "When Midoriya went out of control, Shinso did great, but Uraraka's swift response has me overflowing with pride! Putting your body on the line to help a friend is true devotion! Yes! So much passion! I can't stand it!"
That's right. He doesn't need me to protect him anymore. I can't help but to be jealous of Ochaco for some reason.
"I didn't think twice about butting in," Ochaco reflected on herself. "Maybe that means I need to be calmer when fighting? Although, it's probably much better than not doing anything and regretting it later, right?"
The rest of the evaluations were given out, before we were dismissed. I'm kinda excited for Shinso to be added to one of our classes next year. Though, it was weird to find out about Mineta's "plan" to smash into Mina's chest. Oh, and Monoma's little soliloquy about how Class B won in the end. No wonder he was cast as the main character in their play. He has that main character delusion down perfectly. Anyway, I decided to tag along with Katsumi and her boyfriend on the walk back to the main building... until he ran off with Midoriya and All Might.
Katsumi's POV:
I can't believe that asshole is giving me the (Y/n) treatment. After a few hours, I heard a knock at my door.
Scowling, I opened up the door to see Katsuki. "Wow, I didn't think that you'd start ditching me for training too."
"Don't be an idiot." He pulled me in by my waist, leaving a kiss on my forehead. "I'd rather be here with you anyway."
I sighed, crossing my arms. He may act like he hates Midoriya, but I know he wants to be his friend deep down. "Right, old man."
"What are you calling me old man for?!" Katsuki barked.
"Uh, you're the only sixteen-year-old I know who willingly goes to bed at 8pm every night!"
"So, I can stay up as late as I want, shadow girl!" The blonde stomped over to my bed, getting underneath the covers with me. "Just watch me."
"Whatever you say, babe."
I was kinda tired myself, so I decided to put on my favorite show. I'm pretty sure Katsuki came to my dorm around 7:30... he fell asleep like five minutes later. It always happens this way.
