I couldn't bring myself to get up, even as the doctors were coming in to take my brother to the morgue, so Izuku ended up having to carry me out of the room and back to my own. My boyfriend held me tightly, as he stroked my (h/l) (h/c) hair. I buried my face in his shoulder, just wanting to lose my sense of reality.

-The Next Day-

The pain of my brother's loss hadn't resided at all, but I stopped crying. Nothing can bring him back. Shedding more tears is useless. Izuku was discharged the same day as me, so we headed to the main lobby of the hospital together. He interlaced his fingers with my own, keeping me close to him.

A TV played in the waiting area, broadcasting the aftermath of our mission. "Kai Chisaki, the young head of a formerly prominent Yakuza group, was arrested for the abduction and confinement of a young girl. As police transported him, however, they were attacked by the League of Villains. During the incident, the Sand Hero, Snatch, who was serving as an escort, was killed. There were also members of law enforcement who were injured. This attack on a villain in custody is an unprecedented failure. Officials have also confirmed..."

"This is the only thing they've reported on since yesterday," Recovery Girl sighed.

"It isn't something you should feel responsible for," Eraserhead frowned. "Please try not to blame yourselves."

"Yeah, okay." Izuku spoke, while I remained silent.

I know Mirai said that it's not my fault, but I just wish I could've been there. If I had shot Chisaki right when we had found him, then we wouldn't have had any casualties.

"Good news is, most everyone's headed back to class," Eraserhead continued. "The doctors wanna monitor Togata a little while longer. But Recovery Girl was able to completely heal the rest of the students involved in the raid. They're gathering their things now."

"I'll stick around a little while longer and heal a few more patients since I'm here," Recovery Girl announced.

"We'll stay here too," Izuku blurted. "We were talking, and we want to be here for Eri whenever she wakes up."

I nodded my head, silently saying that was what I wanted too.

"I'm afraid she's still too dangerous for that," Mr. Aizawa admitted. "Right now, we need to trust that the doctors will help her."

The green haired boy looked at the ground. "Yeah, I get that, but I was hoping I could..."

    "She'll be fine."

"Okay, then," Izuku sighed. "I wanna see Togata before I leave, though. I'll be right back. Please watch my stuff!" He was about to walk off, but then realized that I had let go of his hand. "(Y/n)?"

"You go on without me," I sadly smiled.

He gave me a perplexing look before walking off to see Togata.

"Tsutsumi," Mr. Aizawa started. "I'm not going to ask if you're alright, cause I already know the answer to that. I just wanted to let you know that I'm here if you need to speak to me."

"Thank you." I slightly bowed my head. Mirai was the only one who I could truly speak about everything to. I can only talk about OFA with Gran Torino and the Detective though I don't speak to either on a regular basis. A few more people know about the Lady Hecate thing, but those missions I don't care to talk about. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm knocking out villains or citizens who just need help.

"There is something else," Mr. Aizawa brought up. "The Commission called the school, regarding custody. They said that one of the higher ups was willing to take custody of you, since you have no relatives."
