I gave my boyfriend a pat on the shoulder before I left. "Good luck, Izuku."

The fight went smoothly at the beginning. That was until the two boys made contact. Bakugo didn't seem to care about the training exercise as a whole. No, he cared more about the boy who he believed to be quirkless. I will admit, I was quite impressed when the green haired boy anticipated Bakugo's first move, catching his arm and flipping him over.

While their fight was going on, Uraraka was able to secure the weapon, gaining a win for team A. Luckily, the time limit ran out before either of the boys could kill each other.

During their fight, Izuku decided to use his quirk to destroy the building, breaking one of his arms. That dumbass just had to get himself sent to the nurse's office twice in one week.

The next fights progressed as followed:

Shoto Todoroki and Mejo Shoji (Winners) vs. Toru Hagakure and Mashirao Ojiro

Hanta Sero and Ejiro Kirishima vs. Fumikage Tokoyami and Tsuyu Asui (Winners)

Momo Yaoyorozu and Minoru Mineta vs. Kyoka Jiro and Denki Kaminari (Winners)

Riko Sado and Koji Koda (Winners) vs. Yuga Aoyama and Mina Ashido

The last teams to fight were teams K and L. I was the villain, while Katsumi was the hero.

"May the best fighter win." I shook her gloved hand.

"May the best fighter win."

Oh, that's right, Katsumi's costume. She tied her long white hair up into a ponytail, rocking a black long sleeve bodysuit with yellow details, matched with an oversized jacket with white fur trim. Her black thigh high socks made her matching sneakers stand out even more.

I took my place next to the fake bomb, coming to a realization. Why didn't I add anything sharp to my costume? I need to draw blood in order to activate my quirk. This time, I was lucky. By sheer coincidence, I forgot to remove my jewelry, which meant I was still wearing a ring on my right index finger. Running the sharpened edge of my (gold/silver) piece of jewelry across my palm, I formed a whip-like lasso with my blood. Sure, I got the capture tape, but this is easier.

After my five minutes were up, the timer started, as Katsumi entered the building. She wasted no time, transporting her body through the shadows, and appearing in my own shadow.

"Gotcha!" She snickered, as she grabbed my ankle and began to drag me under.

Dropping my body to the ground, I pivoted my body, ripping my leg out of her grasp. My blood ropes went to wrap around her arm, but missed, as she sunk back into my shadow. Shit, she's going for the bomb! I wrapped the blood around the missile, lifting it off of the ground. It's quite light, so it must be hollow inside.

"Haha!" The white-haired girl laughed, as she fully emerged from the shadow of one of the walls. "Just where I wanted you." A shadow shark formed from behind me, latching its teeth into my side. "You thought I'd try to secure the nuke, so you'd use the only open cut you have to protect it!"

I grabbed the shadow's tail, ripping it off of me which also took away a large chunk of flesh and my costume. Blood spewed out of the gaping wound.

"Bro, I just got this costume!" I huffed, as most of the blood vessels reconnected. "You do realize that you gave me what I needed to win, right?"

"Wait..." she pondered. "Goddamnit!"

The blood from my abdomen shot out at her. Katsumi attempted to avoid it by sinking into a nearby shadow, but she was out of luck, for it was too far. The crimson ropes bound her arms together, lifting her off of the ground, so she had no means of escape.

"The villain wins!" All Might announced, as I released her.

"I really need to get better at strategizing," Katsumi sighed.

"Experience is everything." I held out my hand to my best friend, helping her up. "It's only the first actual day, anyway."

We met back up in the observation room, for All Might to grade us.

"You two did not do any collateral damage, so I'll give you points for that," All Might started. "But Katsumi, you shouldn't have attacked your fellow student like that. What if she didn't have the ability to regenerate? You could've killed her!"

"In her defense, she knows my ability just as well as I do," I interfered. "She was my training partner before the exams, which means she knows how to take me down."

If I lose too much blood, then I'll pass out. I could've said it out loud, but I know that I'll have to fight the others eventually.

"O-oh, I didn't take that into consideration." All Might scratched the back of his head. "Great job, both of you."

After we finished, we regrouped at the entrance that we exited from. I hope Izuku's okay, he's still in the nurse's office.

"That's a wrap!" All Might exclaimed. "Super work! You really stepped up to the plate. And we didn't have any major injuries except for Midoriya. You should be proud. Excellent first day of training, all around!"

"It's nice to hear some encouraging words after our homeroom class," Asui smiled. "Mr. Aizawa was kind of a buzzkill."

Thanks to the team up thing, I learned everyone's names.

"I'm happy to bring such staggering positivity to my alma mater! That's all for now, folks. I should go check on Young Midoriya's progress. Now, watch how a pro exits, like he's got somewhere to be!"

The number one hero sped off into the distance, leaving us in the dust. Everyone here probably thinks that was a demonstration of his power, but I knew the truth. Keeping that form up for an entire school day must be straining All Might. I wonder how long he can actually keep this act up.

"Okay you guys, that is a hero," Denki wore a goofy grin.

"Aw, I'll never be able to run that fast," Ojiro pouted.

"Damn, he ran faster than my dad did!" Katsumi gasped.

A few hours later and we were still waiting in the classroom. We were already given permission to go home for the day, but we all stayed (minus Bakugo), waiting for our classmate to return.

After what felt like forever, the door opened, revealing Izuku, still bruised and in a sling.

"Hey, it's Midoriya!" Kirishima grinned. "Good to see ya back! Man, I don't know what you were saying during that match, but you were all fired up, huh?"

"I can't believe you held your own against Bakugo, he's super strong!" Sero commented.

More people surrounded him, telling him that he did a great job in his battle. I'm glad that he's finally able to fit in somewhere.

Denki and Uraraka came back from picking up textbooks from another class, and I wasn't disappointed by the scene Katsumi and I got to watch.

"So, anyway, wanna grab a bite sometime?" The boy questioned. "Kinda stuff you like?"

"Anything sweet... Hey, Deku!"

Me and my best friend giggled.

"Bro got rejected," Katsumi snickered.

I approached the group, finally realizing the entirety of my boyfriend's injuries. "Recovery Girl didn't heal you?"

"Oh, well it has to do with how much stamina I'm using." He explained, before staring at a spot behind me. "Um, (Y/n). Where's Kacchan?"

"We tried to stop him from leaving, but he wouldn't listen," I revealed. "He left about a minute ago."

Izuku thanked me before darting out of the classroom. I don't get why you'd want to see that asshole.
