William's P.O.V

I cleared my throat before facing Hunter.

"I've managed to uncover some information about that woman who assaulted Raven this morning," I started. "And based on my investigation, she's Gennieva Lopez, thirty-nine. She used to be a private high school teacher in Aceredo, and has been admitted here in the sanitarium for a month now after suffering from bipolar disorder."

I paused, looking at the other men who is with us; Nikolai and Knox.

"We also discovered that in her early twenties, she had a history of cocaine use and her teacher's license was revoked due to allegations of chîld səxual abųse. It's believed that those may have had an impact on her mental state."

"What about her punishment?" Hunter asked me with an annoyed expression on his face. This little---

"As for punishment, it's hard to say at this point. She has a psychiatric history, so that will likely be taken into account. However, given the nature of her previous crimes, and the physical and sexual assault on Raven, it's possible that she will be facing serious legal consequences. The final decision will still be up to the court," I answered.

He looked more displeased after hearing it. "That bitch," he murmured.

"She will definitely face criminal charges. And will likely receive mandatory psychological treatment to address her disorder and prevent any future cases of misconduct."

"I want that bitch to be expelled from my sanitarium," he said in a determined tone. "That deprived woman hurt my precious angel. Her actions are inexcusable and she must be removed from this sanitarium immediately. The thought of her being near him makes my blood boil."

I can't help but chuckle at his reaction.

"And if it were up to me right now, I'd make her rot in jail. But since it's not my place to decide, if I have to work with the justice system again just to make sure she faces the harshest punishment they can offer, I will do it. I will personally see to it that she regrets the moment she ever laid her filthy hands on him."

I shook my head. He's up to his usual shenanigans again.

"Don't worry, I'll work on my end to ensure that she will receive the punishment she deserves. I'll be in touch with you if I have any updates on the situation. You focus on taking care of your .. 'precious angel.' That's your priority right now."

I tapped his back lightly before leaving his office.

I sighed.

This was supposed to be a day of happiness because it's Raven's birthday but, well .. things didn't quite turn out as expected.

And now, that woman will truly feel the full extent of Hunter's wrath after what she did to his little beloved patient.

I know that he's always been fiercely protective of his patients, but there's obviously something different about the way he protect this 'particular patient' named Raven.

Haa. Love, love, love. The feeling that has made the sanest people do the most insane things.

I'm still trying to understand what it was that Raven did to make Hunter completely crazy in love with him. It's driving me insane.

I had known about my brother's one-sided love for him for years now. It was a sight for sore eyes, seeing how much he cared for him.

Despite the fact that their relationship was not-traditionally gendered. I could tell how much my little brother treasured him. I've known my brother long enough to recognize that these are the signs of love and affection.
