Chapter Nine: Dark Night with the Knight's Continuation

A night band welcomed us with their lead vocalist powerful voice. The music envelope the place with applauds, head bangs, and cheers of the crowds in. Some are just enjoying their night. Giggling, and just chitchating to each other. Ang saya naman dito.

Nalimutan ko ng may kasama nga pala ako. Nilibot ko ang mata sa loob. Party girls na suot ang kani-kanilang dress for tonight and, I must say hindi appropriate ang P. E. attire kong with matching all star shoes sa bar na aking napasukan. Very nice. Unique outfit. Pero pasado naman na siguro itong short na umaabot kahit paano sa aking tuhod. Haaay. bakit ko nga ba pinoproblema itong get up ko?

Shane Llansante here's with me now. Sinundan pala ako. Mas bagay pa ang suot niyang black polo na tinupi hanggang siko, black jeans na parang araw-araw hindi nauubusan ng stock and black snicker shoes. In short the guy in black. Tsss. Hayaan nang out of place ako.

Hindi nakaligtas ang aking kasama sa mga mapanuring kababaihan sa loob, they are trying to call his attention but failed to get. Mausok sa loob kung kaya't nakadagdag sa pagiging deskripsyon ng lugar. Ang kasama ko, tahimik kong sinusundang binabagtas ang daan. He's tall and lean. Malapad ang kaniyang likuran na sa tingin ko'y kaya akong itago roon. Maybe.

May nagaalok ng inuman sa kanya ngunit sa kasamaang palad hindi nito tinanggap. Paano nga bang hindi siya papansinin ay halos lumuwa na lahat ng kaluluwa. Siguradong marami ng nakapasok sa uri palang niya. Dumaan ako sa harap ng babae at nanunuya kong nginisihan at bago pa man may mangyari, nilakad ko na ang distansyang humihiwalay sa kasamang huminto ng lakad. My ass did annoyed the girl for sure. Wala akong paki, kasi kanina lang ay nakuha niya ang interes ko ngayon hindi na. Oo masama iyon but it's for fun.

And for us here who aren't involving with the innocent people, we're - I'm here to enjoy what's the world they're living in. What is like living in the real world. Yeah! Party-party!

"Stay close." Bulong niya at hinawakan ako sa aking braso. Wala akong sagot kasi nasa mood ako upang makisalamuha - I mean, gusto ko rin sumayaw sa madla.

Humigpit ang kaniyang hawak. Ouch! Matalim ang tingin ko ng lumapit sa kaniya at wala namang reaksyon ang kanya na medyo niluwagan naman ang kapit sa aking braso.

Iginiya niya akong maupo sa isang bar stool sa bar counter. Umupo siyang natatakpan ang kabilang panig na nakaupo sa mahabang sofa habang walang imik na nakatingin ang iba sa dance floor.

"Nice." Imbis na magpasalamat iyon ang namutawi sa aking bibig.

"So dito mo pala ako balak ipunta. Don't you know that awhile ago you already have the opportunity to cut off my neck? Oh! That would be terrible and heartless for you. Well, tama lang ang ginawa mo maybe, I'm too judgmental kasi hindi ka naman gaya ng iniisip ko—oh! Am I being nosy? Sorry for that, nasanay lang ako sa ilang minutong kasama ka na wala yatang balak gawin kung hindi ang kaladkarin ako dito–" napatigil ako.
