The wind today is intense and it only gets worse as we get closer to the seas. The familiar salty smell brings me a sense of comfort to my fraying nerves. I keep picturing Belle dying at the hands of a certain foolish pirate and then my own at the hands of the Dark One. I sigh heavily, causing Belle to look over at me with a raised brow.

"This is... a bad idea." I admit.

"It was your idea to come here, remember?" She asks rhetorically through a laugh.

"Well, I have a weapon." I argue back and to my surprise, she takes a gun out of her pocket.

"So do I." My eyes widen and I let out an incredulous laugh.

"Holy shit! Belle the bad ass with a book and a glock." I joke and she rolls her eyes fondly. The smile falls from my face though as the feeling of dread returns to me. "Why do you want to come with me so bad?"

"Because Hook stole something important to Rumple. Something he needs." She informs me and I look and her, brows plunging. She's doing this for Gold?

"And what would that be?" I let the curiosity get the better of me, in spite of my better judgment.

"It's a shawl."

"You're risking your life for a shawl?" I balk in disbelief as I spin around to face her. She looks at me, determination painted across her features plain as day. I can tell it's partially bravado. She's just as nervous as I am, but for a different reason, I'd wager.

"It belongs to his son." She tells me and my eyes widen at the revelation that Gold of all people has a son.

"Ah." We fall into silence once more as we step out onto the wooden dock, the sound of our footsteps on the sturdy wood ring in my ears.

"Do you see his ship anywhere?" She asks me as if I know what Hook's ship looks like. I look around but know that none of these are his. They're too modern, made of metal and plastic.

"No, but it has to be here unless he's somehow managed to dock it in the woods." I answer sarcastically. She sighs.

"Maybe it's not here at all. Maybe he came to Storybrooke some other way." She throws her hands up in the air.

"No, he'd never abandon his ship." I mutter to myself, still looking around as though I expect the ship to materialize in front of me. A seagull swoops down in front of us before flying off. I look up and see a peculiar sight. The seagull lands on...nothing. I grin before pointing up. "Look!" Belle looks over to me with an excited grin on her face. I was right! Cora really is here! Regina will be so relieved but also scared. I walk over to a box of sand on the dock and grab a handful before tossing it gently where I think the invisible ship is. When the sand lands we can clearly see the steps leading to the ship.

"A cloaking spell." Belle mutters before going to step on the newly revealed steps hesitantly. I grab her by the arm, pulling her back.

"Which unfortunately means Cora is with him. We have to be incredibly careful here. If Cora shows up, promise me you'll run." I say severely and she immediately shakes her head.
