An annoying buzzing sound awakes me without warning

An annoying buzzing sound awakes me without warning. I don't bother moving, attempting to ignore the noise but I quickly sit up once I realize it's my phone ringing. I reach over, glancing at the time in the process to see it's three in the morning. Who the hell?

"Hello?" I ask, voice still groggy. I hear shuffling on the other line before I hear Emma's voice.

"Sorry, I didn't wake you up did I?" She asks and I roll my eyes before swinging my legs over the side of the bed, preparing for the worst.

"Of course you did, it's three a.m." I deadpan back.

"I won't keep you for long. I'm just calling to tell you that I'm not going to be in town for awhile." She tells me breathlessly and I arch a brow at that incredulously.

"You're leaving? Now? With Cora here?" Is she insane? There couldn't be a worse time to abandon ship.

"I have to. I owe Gold a favor and he decided now is the time to cash in." She explains regretfully. I can hear in her voice the annoyance and wonder what business Gold could have outside of Storybrooke. Whatever it is must be important if he's willing to leave Belle alone when Hook's still here.

"So you're leaving me in charge." I surmise.

"Yes, I need you to take over as sheriff while I'm gone. Can you do that?"

"Leave it to me."

I decided to dress warm since we're going somewhere windy today

I decided to dress warm since we're going somewhere windy today. And by we, I mean me and David. It turns out that Emma also asked David to stand in as deputy, which would have been nice to know over the phone. I decided on a simple pair of leggings (good for sword fighting) and  a simple sweater with a baby blue, knee length coat atop.

We obviously decided that our first priority should be to find Cora before taking any action. David decided to bring along Snow and Leroy, which annoyed me at first but remembering how capable she is, I immediately changed my mind. Why the dwarf is here is still a mystery though.

I decided that the best lead we have on Cora is, unfortunately, Hook. Much to his amusement. We finally reach the docks, which took a while considering Hook's injuries. I keep a tight grip on his arm as I lead him closer to where I remember his ship being.
