The walk to Pan's camp is about as miserable as you can imagine. Rough terrain that constantly makes me feel off kilter, and people who seemingly are only capable of being negative. Thankfully, I'm at the front of the pack, so I'm somewhat able to ignore what's going on behind me. It was either Killian or me who had to lead the pack. Obviously, Emma chose me, still not trusting the pirate.
I take out the map to quickly glance at it, seeing how close we're to Pan's camp. I look down at the red X. Whenever I blink, it moves to somewhere behind us.
I stop dead in my tracks.
"No way...." I whisper.
"What is it?" Regina asks, coming up beside me.
"Pan's camp is behind us now," I respond breathlessly.
"What?" Emma exclaims.
"How can that be?" Snow says.
"You got us lost." Regina accuses, and I shoot her a look.
"No, she didn't." Killain comes up beside me to look down at the map. "It's the camp, Pan's moving it."
"He's playing tricks on us," David says.
"I told you that we're doing exactly what he wants," I say through a sigh, folding the map and putting it in my pocket.
Pan is sending us on a wild goose chase around Neverland. I'm starting to think my initial theory was right, that Pan wants Henry to lose hope that his family is coming for him.
"So this whole trek's been for nothing," Emma says.
"I told you walking was idiotic." Regina snaps. "If we can just use some magic, we can materialize in the camp and grab Henry!"
"Have you even been listening? We don't know where the camp is!" Snow chastises, and Regina rolls her eyes.
"Pan'll have shields against magic. I fear such an attempt would end in your death and, more importantly, mine. Hence, the walking." Killian explains.
"You have any other ideas? Because this map is essentially useless." I ask, putting my hands on my hips.
He takes a moment to think.
"We use someone he trusts." He responds, and the rest of us send him confused looks.
"Who? Because I'd guess he certainly doesn't trust you."
David takes the opportunity to take a jab at him.
"A fairy who lived here when I was about. She might still be on the island. She'd be an inside source, knows all about the camp, and can get us in." He explains. "She might even have some pixie dust left; perhaps we could fly in."
"Tinker Bell," Emma says, voice filled with disbelief.
"You know her?" Killian asks, and I let out a short laugh.
