The walk back to the apartment with Hook is mostly silent with intervals of quakes

The walk back to the apartment with Hook is mostly silent with intervals of quakes. I briefly filled him in on what happened with Neal, which he didn't take well. I wasn't aware that him and Neal where close but apparently he spent some time on the Jolly Roger. Bringing Hook back to the apartment is definitely a decision. A stupid one, sure. I at least have the presence of mind to give back his coat before walking in. I don't want people getting the wrong idea.

I was planning on walking in first and explaining Hook's situation but he didn't get that memo. On the way up the stairs we could hear Henry pleading with, assumably, Emma and Regina to stop fighting and to work together.

"From the mouths of babes, I'd say the lad has a point." Hook says, waltzing into the apartment as though he's an old friend. David, without saying a word, brings his fist back and punches Hook square in the mouth.

"That's for the last time we met." He says. Hook brings a hand up to his mouth, checking for blood.

"Fair's fair." I say finally, walking up beside Hook. Hook gives me a sarcastic smile which is wiped off his face when David pulls out a gun and cocks it.

"Tell us why you're here before I use something else, other than my fist." David threatens him and I roll my eyes.

"Killing him is a bit redundant at this point, we're all about to die." I point out.

"No thanks to him. Why did you bring him here?" Emma chimes in incredulously.

"Well, technically he followed me here." I answer with an apologetic look.

"Regina told us you're working with Greg and Tamara to get your revenge." Emma says to Hook.

"Well, that was before they told me I had to die to get it." He responds.

"We don't have time for feuds, we have a real problem." I remind everyone with a raised brow.

"Which is why I'm here. Staring death in the face has made me realize, if there's one thing I want more than my revenge, it's my life." Hook explains and his words seem to placate everyone else. For now at least.

"There is no stopping it." Regina joins us. I sigh heavily at her words.

"That... is not the attitude I want to hear right now. Anyone else?" I ask sarcastically and Regina rolls her eyes.

"But I can slow it down. But that will only delay the inevitable." She explains, looking defeated. I feel my heart drop at her words. There has to be some way to stop it. I'm not going to die because of some diamond. I haven't even had the opportunity to reunite with Belle, Jefferson or Andy.

"Or give us the time we need." I immediately catch on to what David's implying, hope filling me once more.

"The time for what?" Snow asks, despondent.
