We make our way to the docks when Emma called us and told us that they were sailing Hook's ship back to Storybrook. I asked her if Hook was with her and she said he wasn't. I shouldn't have felt sad by that news, if anything I should've been relieved. But I wasn't. Those are emotions that I will just have to deal with later.
When we get to the docks we see Emma, a strange man who I'm assuming is Gold's son, and Henry all helping Gold walk. I jump out of David's truck, my boots hitting the concrete with a thud as I jog over to them.
"You guys okay?" I call out as I take one of Gold's arms and bring him over to lead against the truck so David and Snow can reunite with Emma.
"Yeah, we're alright" She says as Snow pulls her into her embrace.
"Thank you." Gold says, clutching the bloody spot on his chest. I lift the bandage just enough to see the wound. There's a strange yellowing around the edge where Hook sunk his... hook into. He definitely used poison by how much the wound has festered over such a short amount of time. "How's Belle?" He asks.
"Lacey. She's doing well, all things considered." I mutter before placing the bandage back where it was.
"Is Cora trying to control you with the dagger?" David asks from beside me. I look over at Gold expectantly.
"Oh, you'd know if she was because most of you would be dead by now." He gives me a pointed look. "Especially you." The smile that I can't fight off is slightly concerning for me but Gold just furrows his brows as though he's studying me. Cora gave me the same look in the clock tower.
"Well, then, we'll just have to take the fight to her and this time... we finish it." Snow chimes in and David and I shoot her surprised looks.
"Snow." David warns, grabbing her by her shoulders.
"David, she needs to be stopped. She needs to be killed." She says decisively, the panic in her voice clear as day. I can see it in her face, the fear of her losing her family. I understand where she's coming from after learning Cora had murdered her mother.
"I have zero problem's with Cora dying but not by your hand and not out of vengeance." He pleads with her.
"He's right, you don't need to kill her." I say while putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder. She looks over her shoulder at me incredulously.
"Since when did you start taking his side? I thought you of all people would understand-"
"You don't need to kill her because I will." I interrupt and David's head snaps in my direction now.
"Alice, you shouldn't-"
"I won't." I say immediatley, meeting his gaze. Everyone turns to me, puzzled.
"But you just said you will." Snow says with furrowed brows.
"I will." At this point I know I'm not making any sense but nothing makes sense to me at this moment except one thing. Cora has to die.
