A couple is waiting by a white sedan at the arrivals gate.
The man was holding a fluffle of small rabbits in his arms(Author notes : yes, that's a real term go look it up), while the woman was holding a bigger albino rabbit in hers.
" ....૮( -• ˕ •- )ა.... "
* sniff *
* sniff *
" Be patient, Nascita....Eva had already called us this morning and she said she's coming back from her trip. " Ashley reassured the rabbit in her arms.
" ....Have you already fed her? " Adam asked.
" She wouldn't eat no matter what I gave her. I think she misses Eva way too much... " Ashley said while caressing the rabbit.
" !...₍ᐢ. ‸ .ᐢ₎...! " Suddenly, the rabbit's ears perked up.
* Squeak! *
The rabbit let out a loud squeak.
" Ah, that's them...! "
" Yooo~! " A white haired girl waved at them from across the road.
Looking left and right to make sure no vehicle is oncoming, she ran across the road towards the couple.
* THUD *
She gave Ashley a big hug.
" Mmhmfh.... " A muffled voice came from the buried head at Ashley's bosom.
" Welcome home,sweetie... " Ashley said lovingly.
" Yeah, I'm home... " Evolto replied back.
* Squeak! *
" Yes,Nascita. I'm home. By the way, have you lost some weight? " She held up the rabbit in front of her.
* Squeak! *
" You miss me that much,huh...? " She caressed the rabbit in her arms.
" I'm right here too, you know.... " Adam said, slightly sulking.
" Ah! Mr.Adam. And you guys as well. "
* THUD *
" Oo-oof...That's a pretty big hug you got there... " Adam said while slightly wincing.
Yet he didn't once attempted to break away from the embrace of his beloved daughter.
" I've missed you... " Evolto said lovingly.
* squeak! *
* squeak! *
* squeak! *
" Haha...I missed you guys too... " She took the bundle of rabbits into her arms.
" .... " While all of this is happening, Dr.Magi is just standing behind the group.
He in particular, is trying to wrap his head around the stark change in the girl's personality.
' Is this really the same girl who took down the Herrscher...? '
" Ah, sorry about that. You must be... " Adam noticed the older man's presence.
" Ah! Mr.Adam, Ms.Ashley, this is my grandpa, Magi. "
" Y-yes. Li-Eva here is my beloved granddaughter. " Dr.Magi said, still not used to their initial arrangement.
This was the explaination Evolto and Dr.Magi had agreed upon regarding his presence here.
Evolto had previously told them that she is taking a break from work in order to deal with some "family matters".
The backstory that she decided to give to the couple was that Dr.Magi was the one who looked after her when she was small until her parents came back to raise her themselves.
But, when he had heard that her parents had passed away, he had gave her a call stating that he is her grandfather.
Of course, none of this is true but Evolto had made sure to forge the papers and credentials so that if one were to dig something up regarding the two, they would only know that she is his granddaughter and nothing more .
" Nice to meet you, Mr.Magi. " Adam offered him a handshake to which he accepted.
" I heard about you from Eva. Thank you so much for raising her for the past few years... "
" O-oh. It's nothing. I surely hope she hadn't been causing so much trouble for you two. "
" Nothing of the sort. Thanks to you, she had been a good daughter to us. " Ashley said to Dr.Magi.
" Well, you guys are probably tired from the trip. We should head home and Eva, I'll cook you your favourite Seabass Fillet for dinner tonight. "
" Yay! You're the best, Mr.Adam! "
' YESS! THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO...! ' Evolto cheered in her mind.
And so, the Winters family celebrated the return of their pale-haired princess.

" LIN! "
Dr.Magi ran towards the bed on which a purple-haired girl was slumbering.
* BEEP *
* BEEP *
The heart rate monitor as well as the soft rythm of breathing from the girl told Dr.Magi all that he needed to know. That his beloved granddaughter was indeed alive.
" So? How was it? Have you see all that you needed to see? " Evolto asked the crying grandfather.
" * Sob *...Thank you,....* Sob * ...Thank you, so much... "
" No * burp * problem.... "
' Damn, I had..way too much fish just now... '
" Hm? "
Before Evolto had noticed, Dr.Magi had already prostated himself before her.
" ....Thank you so much for saving my granddaughter....From now, my loyalty belongs to you. "
" Hoho....I assume you accept the deal, then? "
" ...Anything you want, anything you ask of me...I'll do it. Just, please....let me stay by her side once more....That is all I want. "
" Hm....Alright, then. Guess I'll wake her up, now. "
" !! Wait! You can wake her up...?! "
" Now that you've accepted the offer, yes. "
Evolto then held her hand out in front of her, before a gooey red substance started flowing out of it.
' This portion of DNA will cost me some of my Hazard Levels....but you gotta lose some to get some, as they say. '
" Hmph. "
The red goo started to cling onto the girl's body, before being fully absorbed into her body.
A few moments later, the purple-haired girl started to slowly open her eyes.
" Mmh...mhmm... "
" Where....am I...? "
" LIN! " Dr.Magi hugged his beloved granddaughter once more.
" LIN...! I am so...so glad you're safe...How are you feeling right now? Are you in pain anywhere? " Dr.Magi asked, full of concern for his granddaughter.
" .... " Lin simply stared at him blankly.
" ...Lin...? "
" Who....are you...? "
