A white haired girl said, a body of a shriveled rat in her hand.
As well as a pile of them on the floor.

She then dropped the body of the rat she was holding, adding it into the pile.
In the next moment, a fresh and living rat is in her hands as she dug her teeth into it, the previous one not even settled onto the pile yet.

The girl continued to drain all the blood away from the creature.
If one were to look closely, they would notice that some wounds on the girl's body is beginning to close and heal, albeit at a gradual pace.
" Aaaaah.... "
" That's good.... "
" But it is strange... "
" Even though I've eaten so many, this body is healing way too slowly even if these are literal rats. "
" Is it because this body is a clone? "
Unbeknownst to Evolto however, the owner of the body that he was based on was a gluttonous one, a trait which carried over to becoming a (rather unfortunate) part of his physiology.
In exhange for a great deal of physical strenght and stamina, the body requires twice as much or even more sustenance than a normal human would be capable of consuming.
' Regardless, it should've been expected from such a strong body.... '
He thought to himself.
Now that he had the time to think about it, his body is way too strong even by 'his' standard.
' This body... '
' If given time to fully develop, might be as strong as Banjou, or maybe even stronger.... '
' Looks like I hit the bingo with this vessel. '
Just as he thought this to himself however
* SQUEAKS *

' So the next meal's here, huh–?! '
However, just as he turned around and prepared to pounce on his next prey, he suddenly stopped in his tracks.
" Wait... "
" You....are no rat."
This is because the creature that he thought would be a rat was white in color, unlike the latter's fur which is a dirty gray in colour.
Another noticeable difference regarding the creature's fur is it's bristliness.
Unlike the scraggy furs that can be found on a rat, the creature's fur that covered it all over it's body is fluffy, making it look like a small cloud.
It also has two long ears coming out of it's head, forming the shape of a ' V '.
Finally, it's eyes which is blood red in color was locked onto Evolto as it kept it's gaze on him, the two crimson jewels unmoving.
Evolto knew what this creature was, especially because it reminded him of his greatest foe that put an end to him in his previous life. The one responsible for his current situation.
" A....rabbit...? "
