Kamen Rider Evol : Another End

Construct-7 : Escape from Schicksal ( II)

" HRARGH!! "

* SLASH *

As Evolto swung down his sword, another Asleikr Mystletainn lost it's artificial life.

" Another one down. That makes it 10 in total. "

" The exit is not far ahead, all that's left is to turn this corner- "

" !! "

* CLANG *

" GUH-! "

Evolto grunted as he skidded a couple steps back, he felt his arms numbing slightly from parrying the blades in front of him.

" Well...well.., seems like I forgot about the final boss. "

Evolto said to himself, referring to the robot in front of him which has a different design than the rest.

Unlike it's previous counterparts, it's body is now red in color, as well as the two swords that it wields being blue instead of green. It was also slightly bigger than it's white brethren.

The red attacker, seeing that it's ambush had failed, briefly charged up before spinning towards Evolto with it's blades out, turning it into a storm of blades.

' Damn-! '

Evolto cursed in his mind before dodging away from the bladed storm.

The red Asleikr Mystletainn, aware that he had dodged it's attack, proceeded to bring together it's two swords, combining them into one, before sending out a sword wave with a mighty swing.

" !! "

Evolto ducked down, narrowly missing the attack by a hair's breadth.

' This guy is a cut above the rest! '

Evol commented to himself.

" !! "

Suddenly, he felt a hot sensation coming from his left side.

Without looking towards the cause of it, he immediately rolled away from his current position.

The Aesir Baldr had launched a laser beam attack towards Evolto, the aftermath of the attack leaving the metal floor at his previous spot to become melted and glowing a bright orange.

' I can't afford to be hit once! '

He commented after seeing what the laser had done to the metal floor.

' I'll need to defeat this guy quickly! This body is slowly running out of stamina...'

' I just need an opening to exploit... '

Evolto hoped that the robot would make a blunder eventually, that there would be some faults in it's programmings that would let him claim an easy victory over his opponent.

' But that would be too convenient, wouldn't it ? '

He thought to himself amusingly.

The red robot then proceeded to charge up it's next attack, however, Evolto was not about to let it do whatever it is it's about to do.

" Oh no, you don't! "

Evolto rushed towards the red robot, in order to intercept whatever attack it was charging.

Brandishing his blade, Evolto swung down towards the robot.

However, as if it had seen this coming, the robot promptly hovered to the right, dodging Evolto's katana by a hair's breadth.

It then countered by sending multiple slashes at Evolto's direction, forcing the latter to block the attack using his sword.

* SLICE *

* RIP *

" GAH- "

However, some of the slashes still went through his defense, slicing him at his arms as well as the sides of his stomach.

The Aesir Baldr however wasn't finished with it's attack as it continued it's flurry of slashes.

' Damn! I am getting nowhere at this rate! '

' Then-! '

Evolto then swiftly parried the next incoming slash.

At the same time, he roll-dodged towards the side of the red robot, before quickly getting back up to his feet and delivered a swift slash towards it's flank.

As if expecting such an attack, the robot attempted to evade the slash as it moved it's body towards the left.

However, unbeknownst to the mechanical sentinel, Evolto already knew that it would respond by dodging away from his attack.

And so, he let go of his sword half-way through the swing.

As he does so, he spun around, spinning the same way as the direction of The Aesir Baldr's evasion.

Everything around Evolto seemed to slow down as he continued to spin, and soon the robot's left side entered his line of sight as he nearly finished a full rotation of his spin.

As soon as he spotted the opening, he grabbed the sword that seemed like it was suspended mid-air, and using the momentum of his spin, delivered a powerful killing blow that split the robot in half.
