Construct-4 : Humans Don't Change

" Ah, is this where they keep all the toys? "

Evolto muttered to himself.

After walking around for a while in the facility(which, to his surprise, is bigger than he assumed, and certainly much more technologically advanced), he arrived at what looked like two sturdy metal doors.

' Well...the people could've been friendlier though... '

He thought to himself as he recalled his journey on the way here.

The moment he opened the door and stepped out of the room containing the tank he emerged from, he immediately came into contact with two guards, each carrying what looks to be a high-tech rifle, as well as a sword on their side.

Not giving them time to react to the sound of his exit, he hastily dashed towards the two guards, and without wasting any time, proceeded to hold them up by their necks.

" Wha-GHcK! "

"Wh-AGhK!! "

The two guards gurgled, surprised that a hand was suddenly on their throats.

' Well, I really only got use for one, guess the other one goe--Wait a minute. '

' That's right, I can do that ! '

Evol thought to himself, recalling the abilities available to him as a member of the Blood Tribe.

Evolto then proceeded to activate his memory manipulation ability in order to read into his victim's memories.

At the same time, his right hand palm began emitting a dim light.

The guard that was being held in his right hand then began spasming uncontrollably, the other one looking at her partner with eyes of utter horror.

Suddenly, the guard stopped all movements as her eyes rolled upwards, snot running out from her nose, as well as white foam coming out of her mouth. Evolto had also noticed that she had peed herself.

' After that, I did the same thing with the other guards I found, but the information I'm starting to gain is getting repetitive, so I just killed any that I found after that. '

' Really, I would've let them live (after erasing their memories) had they not pointed their weapons at me. '

' Seems like the humans haven't changed at all. '

Evolto thought to himself. As for whether or not he's going to stay true to his words, that is up to the readers to decide.
