" ...Faust? " Ryoma parroted to the man beyond the glass.

" That's right, Mr.Raiden. " The man, Isurugi Soichi, affirmed.

' Faust...Faust.... ' Ryoma tried to recollect any instance of the organization named Faust in his memories, but came up short of anything.

" I can see your confusion, Mr.Raiden. If I may, I might be able to clear some of the questions you currently have. " Soichi said with a smile.

" ....Very well, then. Tell me more of this...."Faust". "

Upon hearing the question, Ryoma could have sworn that the smile of the man suddenly changed, though to what kind, he doesn't know.

" ....Well, I'm glad you asked, Mr.Raiden. "

" .... "

" Hmm...Where do I begin...? Let's just say, we are a still an...up-and-coming organization. That could be one of the reasons why you've never heard of us before. "

" .... "

Suspicious. That was the conclusion Ryoma had of the man as well as the organization he claimed to be a part of.

Nevermind the fact that he had never heard of this so-called "Faust", if the man's words were to be believed then they are not even a proper organization, yet.

Unless, of course...

' Hmm...I see... ' Ryoma nodded internally, coming to a conclusion.

Which he decided to confirm by asking the next question.

" ...Thank you for the answer. As for my second question, I would appreciate it if you could tell me why your organization is interested in my case. "

" Well, Mr.Raiden, to put it simply, my.... superiors believe that a man of your standing couldn't have been guilty of the allegations imposed upon you....Though, that is not the only reason.... " He added silently, but still loud enough for Ryoma to hear and guess what the man's intentions were.

As he intended.

" And would you mind telling me what the other reason could be? "

" ...We believe that by helping you, we would each be able to reach a mutually beneficial situation to our current circumstances. Of course, such as you being a free man, again...and being one of the members of Faust. "

He had hit the nail right on the head, it seems. Though, a greater question rose within him as his previous one was answered.

" Then, I would have to ask, why me? Wouldn't having a criminal such as I in Faust give your organization a bad name? "

" Hmm....An interesting question, Mr.Raiden. Our superiors believe that a man of your caliber would be able to.... "outweigh" your reputation by assisting us with your technological expertise. "

' After all, I've been a huge fan of your work, Mr.Ryoma.... ' Evolto meant what she said, since it had been proven that the man's inventions were reliable, as seen when it had helped her during the very first day of her reawakening.

" .... "

" So, what would it be, Mr.Raiden? Are you going to- "

" I would have to refuse your offer. " Ryoma cut him off right then and there.

In the first place, he had no intentions of joining the organization even if it turned out to be real, as he had already been bound to another. Add to the fact that he had never heard of this "Faust", he doubted that a no-name organization could have helped with his case, anyway.
