The necklace had a beautiful silver chain with a small blue gem in the middle, it was inside of the small star-shaped pendant. Her eyes widened from how it looked, she looked at Leon who gave her a warm smile, "I wanted to give this to you, to show you that I care about you and that I want you to know that even if we fight or things don't work out between us... You have me close to your heart."

She couldn't help but smile at his words, letting out a small sigh, "It's really beautiful, here help me put it on." She quickly hands Leon the necklace and pulls her hair away from her neck for him to put around her. He carefully clasped the necklace around and softly smiled at her.

She heads to her bedside table to look at her reflection on her small mirror, "I love it Leon, I'll never take it off." Leon smiled at her, feeling his heart beating a bit faster as she vowed to never take the necklace off. He sat on his bed and gently held his plushie 'Timmy'. A thought came up and he had to ask, "Hey Megan."

"Yeah?"

"What were you going to say earlier before I gave you the necklace?"

Megan nearly forgot about it, letting out a small sigh of ambivalence, "It's... about if I should write a letter to Dad after all this time..." Leon opened his mouth to speak but Megan cut him off, "I know what you're gonna say, "That's a good thing, it's about time you and Dad can make things right" or "I knew you would come around and write him a letter, I just didn't know how to say it." She lightly chuckled, "Right?"

Leon let out a small chuckle as Megan sat down next to him on his bed, "Actually what I was originally going to say was, "What made you decide to write him a letter?"

"Oh..." she felt a bit like a fool for assuming what he would say, but his chuckle made her smile, "What made me decide was... that I felt like I've been thinking about how my relationship with him won't fix itself and... I realized that I was being too unfair for wanting something that I could just fix if I wasn't so stubborn."

Leon gently smiled and put his arms around her shoulder, giving her his silent support, "That's a good start. I'm sure he would love to receive a letter from you. Have you thought of what to write?"

Megan let out a hesitant groan, "Not really, I don't even know where to start. Stupid I know, I just... can't figure out what to say."

"Well, start small. It doesn't have to be perfect like an essay, write how you feel. He will understand and love what you write."

"You're right, I just need time to think about what to write. Thanks, Leon."

"Anytime Megan, I'm just glad I could help."

She then got up from his bed and sighed, "I want to say sorry also..."

Leon's eyes widen a bit, "Sorry? For what?"

"For how I acted about the whole ice cream hangout, I was being a jerk about it and I felt like an idiot for doing so. I don't want to mess everything up between us again. So even if we don't get to do the ice cream hangout that's fine too..."

Leon felt bad that he wasn't able to give her the ice cream day they wanted, but he promised himself to make up to her. He didn't want to let her down and wanted to see her smile, "Megan... I really want to take you out for ice cream, but I also want to stop those two from their prank... I promise you that I'll take you out for ice cream, I don't know how long it will take but I'll give you that day okay? If I don't then you can... I don't know, punch me in the arm." He chuckled.

Megan let out a small laugh, "Punch you in the arm? I don't know if I could do that, I'll just smack you on the back of the head. Promise I won't do it hard," she gave him a small smile, "And it's cool if you want to hold off the ice cream hangout, just please don't get in trouble. I would rather have you stay here till graduation than get kicked out."
