Leon slowly heads over to Megan's sleeping body and gently brushes her hair out of her face. I wished those two would have made amends... He glanced over at the clock and noticed they had ten minutes left before their next class, he then gently shook her by the shoulders, "Nap times over Megan, it's almost time for class."
She let out a grumbled, "Five more minutes," and turned to the side. Leon quietly chuckled and shook her more, "You have to wake up Megan or we will be late for class. Don't make me tickle you."
She groans softly as she gently pushes him away, "No tickles, I'll get up." Megan slowly gets up from her bed, rubbing the sleepiness out of her eyes. She then looked at the clock and noticed the time, "Dang, I slept for that long? Good thing you woke me up, otherwise I would've missed class."
"Yeah, now let's head to the gym," Leon said as he helped her up, she put her shoes on and the two started heading towards the gym.
The sounds of the gravel crinkling as they walked over to the gym, Megan looked over at Leon then looked away. It caught Leon's attention so he gently nudged her, "Something on your mind?"
Megan looked at him a bit dumbfounded then shrugged it off, "Nah. Just a small thought."
"Doesn't look like a small thought, come on tell me."
Knowing that Leon would probably pester her for it she reluctantly complied, "Well... it's kinda about what to write for Dad, I don't even know where to begin." She left out the part where her father wrote her a letter and it was sitting in her drawer, not feeling ready to talk about it yet.
Leon looked up at the sky to think, "Like I said earlier it doesn't have to be big, start something simple like... oh I don't know, 'Hey dad, I want to let you know I'm doing fine,' or something like that. Kinda hard to say when it's a bit easier if he sent you a letter."
Megan quietly groaned to herself, "About that..."
He turns to her a bit curiously, "Hm?"
But before Megan could say anything she felt someone bumping into her shoulder, almost causing her to lose her balance, "H-Hey watch it!" To her annoyance, it was the same asshole she encountered at the vending machine.
He smirked at her, letting out a scoff, "Gotta watch where you are going missy."
She clenched her fists, wanting to walk over to him and say a few kind words to him but Leon held her back. His grip on her shoulder was tight but not to the point where it hurt her, only to keep her in place, "Don't do it, Megan, he's not worth it."
Leon now realizes that he hasn't told Megan about what he discovered in the prank the two guys are in, he wasn't sure how smooth or bumpy the conversation would go but she does have the right to know if it involves her, "Megan I need to tell you something."
She turns over to him, "What is it?"
"Remember how I was going on about finding out what kind of bad prank the two goons might do? Well that guy, Mike, is one of them. His friend James is the other one who is involved."
Megan turns over to see Mike walking away in the distance to the gym, "You can't be serious, that asshole? Why I outta-"
"Megan don't, you can't just confront him with no proof. He might use that against you and do something stupid."
"So what do you propose we do then?"
Leon held back a small groan, "This is the part where you come in."
She raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
"I need you to get close to him, he, unfortunately, is one of our classmates in gym. Hate to say it out loud not knowing he was, but that's not the point. The point is that you have to be his gym partner for today."
