Leon was surprised to hear her say that, he never really brought up her Dad ever since she shut the discussion of him down. However, he was still glad to see Megan wanting to make things right. "I was wondering when you were going to come around. Well, then we should gather our stuff and head back home. The sooner we leave, the sooner we can see Dad."
Melody glanced at the two. "So you two are leaving huh, shame that I won't be able to see you two for a while..."
Megan tilts her head. "What do you mean? Don't you live around here?"
"Well, yes but I live further away. It's a three-hour drive to my home."
Leon softly sighed, come to think of it, he wasn't sure how his new relationship with Melody could work from the distance. One thing for sure is that he won't let distance get in between his new girlfriend. "We will be fine, I'll make sure to call you every day."
Melody's cheeks turned red as a soft laugh escaped her lips. "Right, I'll do the same. You two take care okay?" And with that Melody quickly gave Megan a tight hug and Leon a quick kiss, gently waving at the two. Megan glanced at Leon to see a slight look of dazed after Melody's kiss.
Megan let out a small groan and elbowed him. "Come on lover boy, let's get our stuff so we can hurry home." Leon lets out a small laugh and follows her back to their dorm room. On their way there Leon's mind wonders for a moment, glancing at Megan, he gently puts his hand on her shoulder which causes her to stop and turn towards him.
"Say, Megan... I was thinking that since Dad wasn't able to come... let's show him a picture of us, so he can look at how much we come so far... that is if you want to."
"Sure, I bet he wants many pictures of us. I can start taking pictures of you first."
"Actually..." Leon gently held his phone close to his chest. "I want the first picture to be of us. Together... is that alright?"
Megan walks over to him with a gentle smile. "Of course Leon. How do you want it?"
He then quickly took Megan by the waist to bring her closer to him catching her by surprise. Raising his hand to hold the phone, he glanced back at her. "You ready?"
With a little chuckle escaping her lips, she placed her hand around his shoulder and looked at him with a smile. "Ready."
He starts counting down. "3... 2... 1... Cheese!" Right as he finished counting he took a photo and looked at the result. "They came out perfect. We look awesome."
Megan nodded in agreement. "Come on let's take some more photos." The two then took as many pictures of their achievements, some with serious poses while others were full of fun and delight. When it was over they entered their dorm room to pack up their belongings in their cars.
Megan glanced at Leon with a question in mind. "So Leon, since we graduated, do you know where you are going to go?"
"Well, I've been looking and I decided to head over to work at the Raccoon City Police Department."
"The RPD? Why over there?"
"I've been hearing strange reports of murders in that area and I want to be there to help. If it wasn't for your Dad taking me in... I wouldn't have wanted to be a cop, he helped me and I want to help others."
"That's... very sweet. Guess that means I'll come visit you."
"What do you mean visit, you aren't going with me? They can use someone like you too, you know? We can even be partners together. Remember, like we said we would?"
"Well... I was thinking I would be an officer back home, I wanted to follow in my Dad's footsteps and if working at the same station he is in then... It's what I want."
