Leon and Megan arrived at the house to see it in such a terrible state, that parts of the furniture were knocked over or damaged. Leon let out a small sigh. "Man... what happened here?"

Megan carefully walked around and slowly moved the furniture back to where it was. "Not sure, but we will get this cleaned up."

Leon nodded and started helping out with the cleaning. It only took a few hours, but the house was nice and clean. He glanced over at the fridge, hoping there weren't a lot of beer bottles in. To his satisfaction, there weren't any. "That's good."

He turns over to Megan, before he opens to mouth to say anything he spots her standing by the door of her old room. He could see the hesitation in her eyes as her hand slowly hovered over the doorknob. "You know it's not going to look like an empty room, it's still your room." He says, trying to give some sort of comfort.

"I know... I just feel bad for everything."

He gently puts his arm around her. "Don't be... besides this is the chance you wanted right? To reconcile with your Dad?"

"Yeah... but not like this. When he is in the hospital... makes me feel ten times worse..."

"I don't want you to feel bad... I'm going to make that feeling go away."

"How?"

"With a bear hug!" He wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly against his chest. "Leon here is gonna make your worries go away."

She let out a small giggle as he gently nuzzled his chin on her head. "You goofball..." she looked up at him. "By the way... Did you tell Melody what happened with Dad?"

"No... not yet. I'll tell her tomorrow."

"Okay..."

He pulls away from the bear hug he gave her. "Since the house is clean, don't you want to bring your boxes to your room?"

"I do..."

"Then let's get your stuff." With that Megan and Leon start to bring their boxes in to unpack. As they unpacked Megan couldn't stop thinking about her father in the hospital. Part of her feels like it's her fault but deep down she wants to forgive herself and make things better for him.

When night came, Megan found herself having trouble sleeping. Worrying about how her father's doing and if he's doing okay has made her toss and turn. Sleep was almost impossible for tonight so she decided to get off her bed.

She leaves her room to be met with quiet within the house, she glances at Leon's room door. Not wanting to wake him up from her sleep troubles, she decided to do something else. She heads over to her father's room instead, as she walks inside an immediate sense of safety draws inside her.

She glanced over at his empty bed, reminiscing the times she slept next to him when he would cry himself to sleep after her mom left or when she got nightmares. Her hands gently grazed the soft blankets as she took a deep breath, not wanting to go back to her room she slowly crawled onto the bed. The weight of her gently shifted as she lay down on the comfy sheets.

She could smell a bit of his scent lingering on the pillow, bringing tears to her eyes. Her arms started to wrap around his pillow as she took another breath of the pillow, missing him dearly. It should be a matter of time for him to come back home, but the seconds felt like centuries.

When morning arrived, Leon was the first one to wake up. He got out of his bed and stretched his arms, ready to start the first day back at home. The sounds of his soft footsteps echoed through the house as he made his way to Megan's room to check on her. He gently knocked on the door. "Megan, you awake?" However, when he knocked the door was slightly open, he pushed the door to find her room empty. "Did she leave?" He muttered.
