Today was the day Megan was ready to leave for LETI, her car was already packed as she closed her trunk. Alice and Grace were both proud of her for being able to get this far, Megan turned to them, "I appreciate you two for letting me stay here till it was time for me to leave."
Grace softly smiles, "Of course Megan, you are always welcome in our home." Alice went over to give Megan a final goodbye hug, "I'm going to miss you so much."
Megan softly smiled and gently patted her back, "Don't worry, it's only 16 weeks. I'll be back before you know it."
"I know, but you better tell me all about it. I don't know if you're allowed to have your phones or not but send letters. Lots of them."
Megan chuckled, "Don't worry, I'll send you a letter every day." And with that, Megan gets into her car, waving to them as she drives away.
Wow... this is it. I'm going to be heading to LETI Academy to finally become a police officer. I feel so nervous yet so excited at the same time, I wonder what kind of people I'll meet. Hopefully, the first day will go a bit smoothly.
Back with Leon, he was finished packing and gave his father a big hug, "I'm so excited for you Leon, you'll get to learn so many things that school taught me when I was your age."
"I'll make you proud Dad," he gets into his jeep and starts his car, his father approaches his window, "Make sure you write to me all about it okay?"
"Don't worry, I will."
"Oh, and Leon..."
"Hmm?"
"When you get there... take care of Megan for me... I know I haven't been the best father to her but... that doesn't mean I don't want anything to happen to her..."
Leon gave him a soft smile, "I will Dad, I promise..."
"Alright then..." he pulls away to let Leon drive off. Leon gave his final wave and drove off to the Academy. He looks at his rearview mirror to see his father waving goodbye at him, Leon quietly sighs.
I hope he takes care of himself, I've been trying to make sure that he doesn't drink too much before leaving. Good thing I talked to his friend Frank about this and will check up on him while I'm gone.
He grips onto the steering wheel.
Don't worry Dad, I will make sure I bring Megan back home with me...
Megan and Leon finally arrived at the LETI Academy, unaware that they were only a few feet away. The two followed everyone else who was heading to the assembly building, inside was a bunch of other people who were already taking their seats.
Leon decided to sit near the middle while Megan was three rows down from him, looking around to see her possible classmates or future friends.
Oh wow, so many people here...
As she looked around in awe she overheard the two women giggling behind her, "Look at him, he's kinda cute looking."
Ah yes, I had a feeling there were going to be people like them here. Oh well, shouldn't bother me too much. Then again... there are some nice-looking people here...
One of the women turns to her friend, "So are you going to talk to him?"
"Yeah, I just hope I'm in the same class as his."
Megan couldn't help but want to know who exactly they were talking about, she glanced over at them to see their gazes at the guy. She looked over to where they were staring and flinched when she spotted Leon.
