Leon turned over to her and pulled her close to him, "Then let's not get spaghetti, sandwiches it is," he guided her to the lunch line which wasn't that long. Once they got their sandwiches Leon looked around to find a spot to eat, Megan looked around, not feeling comfortable enough to eat with many people around.
Leon took notice and nudged her, "Why don't we eat outside? It is kinda loud in here."
Megan gave him a small smile, appreciating how he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable, "Yeah, I'd like that."
The two head outside and spot an empty bench for them to sit down on, "Look," Leon quickly rushes over to the bench as if it would be taken by someone else, "Here's a good spot."
Megan followed and they sat down, enjoying their sandwiches. After a while, the day went by and the two finished their walk around the academy, knowing where their classes were held and where the training field was.
Heading towards their dorm room, Leon stretched his arms and flops onto his bed, "Man what a day. We managed to walk around the whole academy for one day, felt like a leg workout."
Megan softly chuckled, "Well, considering it a warm-up since we will have to wake up early to train, meaning a lot of exercise or lots of textbook work."
"Oh don't remind me, since the sun has set we should get some sleep. Especially since we are scheduled to get up early."
"Yeah, so can you do me a favor?"
"What is it?"
"Can you leave?"
Leon quickly sits up from his bed, "What?... but I thought we were doing so well..."
"I meant, can you leave the room so I can change into my pajamas?"
Leon felt his cheeks heat up from embarrassment from misunderstanding what she meant, "Haha... right, I'll do that," he quickly got up and left their dorm room to let her change.
It only took her a few minutes to change and she opened the door, "Okay you can come in now, I'll wait out here for you to finish."
"It won't take long, I'll just wear a tank top and shorts."
She left their room for him to head inside to change, Megan started to think that this might be a problem in the future.
Wonder if they will allow me to have some sort of divider so we can change our clothes without having to leave the room for one of us to change. If not then I'll think of something.
Leon opens the door, gesturing to her that he is done and she can enter back their room. Once they were both comfortable in their clothes they lay on their bed, Leon looked over at Megan, "I'm honestly excited for tomorrow..."
"Oh? Is it because tomorrow is technically the first day of our training?"
"Yeah, but also that I get to experience this with you..."
Megan softly sighed and nodded, turning off their shared lamp, before Megan could close her eyes Leon softly spoke out, "Uhm... Megan..."
"Hmm?"
"You're not mad at me for wanting to be friends again, are you?"
She quietly sighs, "No Leon..."
Leon let out a sigh with relief, "Oh okay, that's good... goodnight Megan..."
Megan took a few moments to herself as she watched Leon go to sleep, "Goodnight Leon..." and went to bed.
The next morning came and Megan woke up early to start her usual morning jog, she quietly changed into her clothes to get ready for her jog. Leon who was sleeping, heard some noises she made which caused him to wake up. He lifts his head and turns over to her, "Megan?... what time is it?"
