After a while Megan slowly stops her crying and pulls away from Leon, he gently wipes her tears away, "Feeling better?"
She gave him a small nod, but Leon could tell that she was still feeling the guilt of her actions. He then comes up with an idea, "Tell you what, after class tomorrow let's head out to get some ice cream. That always cheers us up whenever we feel bad."
"Ice cream?" She let out a small chuckle, "I'm not ten Leon."
"Doesn't matter if you are ten or fifty, ice cream always makes things better. Plus this will be like spending time together like we used to when we were kids. Don't you want that?"
Megan thinks for a bit, "Well... it doesn't seem that bad for ice cream."
"Awesome, then it's settled then. Tomorrow after class we get ice cream." He ruffles her hair and heads towards his bed, "Now let's sleep. We got an exciting day ahead."
She softly smiled and lay down on her bed, looking over at Leon who has his eyes closed.
He sure is persuasive when he wants to be. A bit odd that he doesn't have many girls asking him out yet, or maybe he's too focused to date. Oh well, but it's nice that he is always there for me...
But why did he have to mention Dad... I don't see Dad putting much effort to try and talk to me... I hope Leon doesn't tell Dad to write... I'll write to him when I'm ready...
She then turned over to get some sleep.
~Next day~
Megan woke up by Leon gently shaking her shoulder, "Wake up Megan. Today's the day we get ice cream."
She let out a groan and slowly sat up, "Leon, you said we get ice cream after class. And it's barely..." She looked over at her clock, "4:58 a.m. almost five in the morning..."
"I know but aren't you excited?"
"Leon... I'll be excited when I'm fully awake and getting ready for class."
"Right, I know the drill. I'll stay outside while you change."
"Yeah, then it's your turn."
"Oh, I already am dressed."
She looked over at Leon confused, "You are already dressed up?"
"Yeah, I just couldn't help myself."
Megan groans, "We really need to get a curtain..."
"Hey, it's not like you peeked."
"Leon just hush... now get out so I can change."
"On it," He then leaves the door and waits by the wall for her to finish. While he waits he overhears a few students snickering and chatting, curiosity creeps in and he can't help but wonder what they are talking about.
He looked at their dorm room and shrugged.
Megan won't mind if I left the room to wonder a bit.
Leon walked over to a corner and quietly listened to the two students talking.
"Think this will be funny?"
"Pulling a prank like this? They won't see it coming."
"Yeah, did you get the spray cans to tag the car?"
"Sure did, did you get the stink bombs?"
"Already locked and loaded."
"This will teach those professors a lesson. Hell to them for saying we aren't capable of being cops."
